Power Jelqing With Rollers Vertical Instead of Horizontal?

Has anyone tried PJ’ing with the rollers of the PJ vertical (on the sides of the shaft) instead of horizontal? I know this isn’t common practice but I wanted to get some insight before I start doing it this way. It takes some getting used to, but after you’re in a groove it’s pretty simple. And stresses the sides of the shaft rather than the top and bottom.

I feel like intense PJ’ing on the top and bottom of the shaft causes some erection quality issues, etc.

It actually stresses the top and bottom, not the sides like the normal position. Think of pressing down on an overstuffed sandwich.

Felt good but since I only used the PJ until the roller popped and scratched myself, I can’t speak to it’s efficacy.

Not a bad idea, just an idea. The PJ rollers can pop out regardless of PJ orientation.

I think it may be a valid option as it would stress the CCs differently- the bottom 1/3 of each versus the other 2/3 of each in the sideways [sandwich] position.

Since my primary obstacle to growth is an incredibly tough top lig [name escapes me, don’t have time to search, you guys know which one I mean- running down the top length of your unit], the PJ wasn’t as much of a priority- eventually I’ll have to return to hanging to stretch that fucker out.

it doesn’t feel like it pumps as much blood as holding it horizontally. have you thought about squeezing your fingers on the sides that are untouched? i took a break from the power jelq but because it didn’t feel effective, but i use it to jelq at higher erections now and it feels great.

I just can’t seem to figure out which way of PJ’ing causes the best gains? Because I feel like either horizontally or vertically one or the other does seem to in fact cause erection quality issues, I just can’t seem to figure out which it is.

I find it too difficult to keep my dick aligned between the rollers in the vertical position. It works okay if I have some erection, but if I’m more flaccid it curves too much and I get my dick pinched in the PJ arms somehow.

So, I use the PJ with the rollers horizontal, and then as I do the strokes I twist the device a quarter turn to the right and left to hit the sides. It takes a slight erection and some practice to get it right, but I get a good jelq-pump that way.

I am, by the way, using a PJ that has foam athletic tape on the rollers, so they’re much smaller than usual. This allows me to get way down on the shaft towards my abdomen. I get a good grip there, and then do my strokes with the “rollers” never rolling; they stay positioned in the same place on my skin as I pull the PJ out from my body, and then relax the grip slightly, push back towards my abdomen, and then pull out again. You guys who PJ probably know the stroke. But the smaller rollers make it easier to emphasize different parts of the shaft.

Why don’t you just do a day vertical PJ’ing then the next day horizontal then take a day off. That would seem to be the best method, because then your unit would get an all around work out from all sides.

It’s honestly very difficult to say which is more effective because I’ve tried both, and I honestly seem to enjoy both. It’s amazing because I find PJ’ing a lot more like masturbation than regular dry/wet jelqing. With regular manual jelqing I feel like I have to talk myself into do it, because it’s honestly not the most pleasurable thing to do, at least for me. PJ’ing is more like masturbation, and it’s great to PJ to porn, especially new porn you haven’t previously seen. And after getting on a roll of 5 minutes or so of PJ’ing I get a nice plump flaccid. My current routine is PJ’ing and clamping every other day, and on the days I’m not doing both, just PJ’ing for 5-10 minutes. Erection level is around 80% or so.

I’ve always used the PJ in the horizontal position with good results.

I PJ horizontally. I experience many of the problems already discussed when I try it vertical. I have an upward curve and if I have any erection > 50% my penis “squirts” out the bottom or top after 3 or 4 strokes. It is not a pleasant feeling. It does not matter how much or little baby oil I use. So out of penis preservation, I avoid this death defying maneuver and stay horizontal.

Well basically I have been PJ’ing at a slight angle I am going to try and get a video uploaded today so you guys can see what I mean. And I know rest days are a must but honestly to me PJ’ing is just so so so much like masturbating it’s hard to think you need a rest day. I feel like I would rather PJ for 15 minutes than jerkoff any day of the week. My girlfriend goes absolutely INSANE with my added girth from PJ’ing. Between cialis and arginine and clamping and PJ’ing I think I am set for life!
