Question about measuring. Please read.

Hello. This is about how to measure the penis length. We all know we should measure that in the upper surface of the erected penis, whether we “bone press” or not.

However, in most of those pics, the penis is paralel to the floor, so there won’t be any difference if we measure it the upper or in lower surface, as long as we start measuring from the exact same place (only in opposite surfaces).

But when a penis is pointing to 1 or 2 o’clock, with a slight upper curvature, the situation is a bit different. I mean, if I measure my penis in the upper surface, I have something close to 16 cm. If I measure it in the lower surface, but starting from the exact same place, I have something closer to 17,5 cm.

So, which one of those values should I consider? I mean, I am not “cheating” by measuring my penis in the lower surface, because I am not getting any false “extra” cm, I’m just measuring what I’ve got. A slight upper curvature may explain why my penis is “longer” when measured in the lower surface.

Please see the picture so that you understand what I’m saying. This might look confuse. Sorry about the pic, it’s of extremely bad quality! :D

As you can see in the pic,

A = BPEL
B = measured in the lower surface, but starting in the exact same place of measure A (only difference is that it’s in the lower surface)

You have no “solid” point to press against, so your numbers will be different every time.. No point of even measuring then.

6/12/05 6.5 BPEL 5.125 EG 1 week! 6.875 x 5.375 UPDATE.. 7/28/05 OK, I would say I`m a SOLID 7.000 now!! Squeezing out 7.250 BPEL!! OH! Wait a second.. Now I`ve hit 7.375. New numbers!!! 12/7/05 7.625 BPEL!!!!!! Hang long, hang strong! Hey!! This shit works!!!

Part of me wants to say that you should go with the upper-value for two reasons: 1. You have solid bone to push against as a regular measuring point. Distance is the change in value along one dimension between two points. Hence, it is more accurate to measure growth if one of those points, ie the bone, is “anchored” and your variable is the other point, the tip of your funstick. 2. The lower value encourages you to go a little farther to reach a goal. If you want to hit 8, and you’re 1.5 short from above, you’ll work towards it, and then you can measure from below and say you surpassed your goal; it’s a confidence thing.

Another part of me wants to say go with the under measurement because it’s bigger and the length is more satisfying immediately.

I guess, in the end, the part you should measure from is the side of your longfellow that limits how far you can go into your partner. Ie, if you’re “balls deep” and you have a little on the upper surface, or you’re “grinding pelvises” and have some spare room on your bottom surface.

I dunno if my ramble made any sense, but thats what I feel. - PN

I tend to agree with this.

I can understand what the threadstarter is saying, but at the same time, you cant “use” all the bottom of the shaft.

Does that make sense?

I’ve pondered this as well, with the exception of actually measuring becuase I don’t measure. Bear with me guys and be patient, try to help me out.

It seems the consensus with measuring at a 90 degree angle standing up is a little flawed. When I have an erection it naturally goes toward the ground because of ligament damage and loss of use. So, I have to “intrude” with nature to bring the erection to 90 degrees and seem to lose “length” because I am pushing some length back in. I am sure this to be true but don’t have measurements to show any difference.

When I think of a correct BPEL measurement, I think of what is usable.

This is probably one of those subjects here at Thunder’s that has been beat to a pulp, but I do find the above interesting. Krtel, it is encouraging to see you “thinking on your own”.

Yes, it makes sense.
However, when you measure your BPEL, there’s still a small part that you can’t “use”, but still you include it in your measurements.

I understand that measuring in the upper surface will be more accurate. But if we make sure not to cheat, that is, if we measure in the lower surface starting from the exact same place (except that it’s in the lower surface), there’s no way that could be considered as a “not accurate measurement”.

I think this only applies to those whose penis point from 12 to 2 o’clock, with an upwards curvature (slight or not). It’s not the same as measuring a penis that is paralel to the floor (easier to measure).

By the way, I didn’t create this thread so that I could add 1/2 - 1 inch to my penis length stats. It was just a curiosity, considering I haven’t seen any pic of a penis in the conditions I listed (pointing up and with an upwards curvature) being measured… only “paralel to the floor” penis.

Sorry about my english.

I must smell. :(

Krtel,

How do you determine the exact same spot on the bottom every time that you measure? BPEL is not about “usable” length, it is to measure accurately whether you have gained or not. And as proto mentioned above, having a stationary point to measure from is a good idea.

I just mark the point from where I would start measuring the BPEL and then I draw a circunference (or a line perpendicular to the penis shaft) and start measuring in the opposite surface.

Simple solution - track your progress using BP from the top (16 cm), tell the women in your life 17,5 cm.

Cheers

Krtel,

Where did you buy that sophisticated equipment you used for that drawing?

I’d get my money back.

:D

Xl, have you seen any of mine? His looks great!
