Ok on the other board I explained a little about what you have told me. That is, when there is fluid buildup then the pressure is applied to the cavernosa and prevents further expansion. This is why you said stop doing ulies after that happens. Now I know you don’t pump so it may seem strange that I ask you this question, but I believe the principle applies here and you can comment.

Since I am not hanging currently I though I would occasionally experiment with the routine Avocate said about pump for 10 min and then jelq (5 min for me) and repeat this 3 times. I occasionally do this and wrap before a class because it does make me very big.

So here is my concern. First of all the pump builds fluids between the cavernosa and the skin from what people say. So I do this pumping and wrap more for the show aspect. However, on the other days I decided to do my wrapping for ulies first (all day) and then later on try this pump thing.

So here is the big question. If I have caused expansion from the ulies, do you think pumping will actually decrease the expansion? I mean more than just preventing it from further expansion will it actually push back against the cavernosa and negate the expansion? I also finish after the set with another uli wrap to help cement it.

Is this idea about the fluid and pressure a theory you put great stock in or not that much. In no way am I doubting your expertise or challenging you. It is just that sometimes when you explain things you are very sure about them, and other times you freely admit that this may or may not be what is happening.

First, I am sure about the general theory of the fluid buildup. I am not sure of any particular individual situation.

When fluid builds up in the tissues between the skin and tunica, there is at least some pressure associated with the buildup.

Two things can happen. Either the skin is laterally stretched. Or the pressure pushes in against the tunica, or both. At some point however, the skin reaches a point of very little lateral stretch in a session and allows the fluid to push back against the tunica.

No. The fluid buildup will not negate what has already been stretched. Just not allow further stretch. If you stay wrapped, the wrap should keep the chambers in the extended state. The greater the buildup however, the less expanded the tunica.

Haha. I thought you might come back with the ole head hurting comment :) I try anyway. Well thanks for the response. Your previous advice prevented me from doing what I originally was going to do. I was going to start the day with the pumping routine and then do uli wraps all day long. Obviously it needs to be reversed. I will get up and do ulies starting at like 8:00 A.M. and then every hour or so and then stop about 6:00 P.M. and then eat and take a break and about 8:00 P.M. do this pump thing and follow with a uli wrap. I won’t do it every time but throw it in for variety and see how it goes. I can’t do this too many days in a row because I get pretty sore (gee I wonder why). Anyway, when I am not working I will do this a few days and then take one off etc.
