Hello, I just have a few questions that need some quick answers. Please help.. Thanks

1) Should you have rest days or not? And if so, why?
2) The penis isn’t a muscle so what is the purpose of rest days?
3) Last, if you do choose to rest, can you still have sex or masterbate during a rest day?

Start out with them. If you have a Titanium Prick and can take it, then slowly move in the direction of less rest days. If you contine to make progress with less days than try out no rest days and see what happens. Always err on the side of caution in the beginning.

Rest keeps your penis in good shape for more sesions or use other than just taking a piss. Actually banging your lover may not be possible with a spent fuel rod for lack of a better word. So try out rest first, if your a Superman than reduce to eliminate your rest/off days.

Generally yes you can beat off like a monkey or jay like a wild dog on a rest day.

i have tried the time off period. With me it just lead to being lazy about my routine. the longer I went in between routines, the harder I found it to keep motivated and make the necessary time to exercise. i soon found myself doing half hearted workouts, 10 minutes or less that were in effect, next to useless. after 4 months of rest periods using an on a on-off cycle, i had stopped gaining all together, i had lost some of my gaines that weren’t cemented in and did not feel motivated to do anything more about it. i still struggle with these feelings today as a result. i used my time for other things that I enjoyed doing and gave myself excuses to skip or do a minimal workout. i almost lost interest in continuing all together. it seems to me that this in effect became a nothing more than a maintenance routine for me with no positive growth results and lead to a counter-productive attitude towards P.E. once you lose the motivation to do something, it’s even harder to get it back. if you don’t believe me, take a look at something in your life that motivated you and you lost interest for whatever reason, maybe stopped. did you ever get back to doing it?if you did, did you have the same dedication to it? if you have something that is working, stick with it, change your routine around so that your penis doesnt get used to the exercise.

So what if you follow a no-rest-days routine and develop nasty blackened blood spots on your cock? Wouldn’t that warrant a day off then? I know there’s a fine line between injury and gains, but I’m more concerned about appearance. I’m getting into a good position where I may be able to lay someone new and I don’t want any dubious marks on my cock that can be mistaken for VD, so are some days off in order? I ain’t gonna give up no matter what.

Everybody knows by now, and I mean even the most unexperienced novice, that rest days ARE essential. If you ignore that fact, well, you’re walking a fine line.

“The dick is not a muscles, so what do you want”, …is what a lot of members ask me, and they are right, it’s not a muscle.

The dick is a mix of spongy tissue, hard ligs, and a “skin” around the corpus cavernosa, that is really hard to stretch.

Have you ever bought a chicken breast with the skin on? After tearing off the skin there’s still a film left. That is exactly what surrounds the length of your dick. To make that bigger is nearly impossible.

It’ll take years to strech that tissue.

Back to the rest day issue: Do 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 1 off and so forth, but do them with a shock routine mentality.

I’ve actually jumped from 7.2” to 7.5” BPEL recently and have been taking rest days. To be honest, I was being lazy and didn’t expect to see gains due to the ‘rest periods’. I’m now a firm believer in rest. I’m thinking 1 on and 1 off is good or 2 on and 1 off.

I’ve been PEing for about 6 weeks now and have gained a little more than half an inch in length! At this rate, I’ll hit my original goal size (8.5” length or ~8” NBP) in a couple of months. I’ve been secretly leaning towards a 9”er, and asked the dickfairy for one..

I still consume lots of water throught the day. Perhaps waterdowning helps my gains as well (keeps my ding-a-ling fuller through the day, and keeps me running to the washroom :) ).

BTW, my rest days are mondays and fridays. I think you may be able to get by with 1 rest day if you get plenty of sleep.

Thanks! Wow, it really feels great to have gains. I always believed PE would work, but now I know it works. I’ve got to start hitting the gym again. I’ve lost most of the muscle I used to have and am slowly becoming fatter (though far from being fat). Also, I wouldn’t mind decreasing this fat pad of mine.

You’ve seen some great girth gains. What is your secret?

My girth still lags at just about 5.6” and while I’m gunning for 6” I would be more than happy with a solid 5.75”. IMHO, that’s a whole lotta dick!

Rest needed varies, even for the same individual at different times.

When I began PE I made excellent progress on a very minimal routine, with plenty of time off between workouts. Any more would have been overtraining and probably counterproductive. Later, when hanging, a daily routine worked best.

Girth is an enigma. I gained a little in a month using a Mon., Tue., Thur., Fri. intense squeeze routine. I did the same thing for the next 6 weeks and didn’t make any further progress. Later I picked up some overall girth from hanging. Go figure.

Since then I’ve tried other girth routines with varying intensity and rest periods without luck until now. The past 4 weeks I’ve been trying to keep my dick expanded almost all the time, using a combination of wearing a cock ring, pumping, squeezing, extreme Ulis and wrapping for girth. I figured if I didn’t allow my dick to contract it would have no choice but to “heal” at its expanded size. It did. After 3 days off to allow all fluid to dissipate, I’m up 1/8” - my first midshaft girth gain in a year.

I’m down about a 1/16” in BPEL, which I’m sure will come back quickly with hanging. I hope the girth stays.

Funny thing about the girth. From mid-April to end of June, I just jelqed, mainly dry jelqed and gained from 4.5” EG to 4.75” EG.

I’ve done nothing but hang since then and then I just measured myself yesterday and it’s at 4.9” mid-shaft! After I get off my length routine ( whenever I hit 7” ), I may not need a girth routine to get to 6”EG! :) .

Wow! It’s so counter-intuative that hanging can produce girth, but many have reported this! I would expect (like many I’m sure) that hanging would make the unit more skinny if anything. Perhaps I should start hanging. Perhaps I’ll build my own hanger……
