Scientific approaches to Girth

Very interesting post so far and can definitely see lot of informative stuff for us girth chasers. Maybe one day the key to girth gains will be crystal clear.

As a long time clamper i can tell you that if you are experiencing low EQ for several days after your clamping set that means that usually 2 things: you are doing too much or too long or both. So slow down the sets time, reduce pressure and most important thing make sure you are clamping with the right equipment, really means the world.

Normally im 5" MSEG but when i measured my erection while in the ADS i was 5.5" MSEG. How could this be? Im not clamping, im not pumping, and yet my natural erection was able to thicken by 0.5". Its not a permanent change, when im outside the ADS my erections are just normal.

Could this be a case of erect hanging causing gains? Or stretching while erect actually increase the circumference of the shaft? Maybe one of you should try it intentionally and see if it happens to you.

It would help to know what sort of ADS you’re using, attachment method and base ring etc ?
I noticed something similar years ago using a noose type extender, didn’t see the same effect using a vacuum hanger.

Im using the basic vacuum cup from total man and its attached to my leg using an elastic band. Just the normal ads id imagine, nothing fancy.

No penis is different. What works for one, will work for another.

I’m using the cable clamp. As I’ve seen that’s what has been recommended? I’ve seen some people use a hose clamp but I wasn’t sure if that was necessary.

Thank you for the tips, I’ve changed the time down to 5 minutes and that seems to work well and keep my erections up after.

Personally cable clamps worked terribly for my clamping sessions and as i switched to a hose clamp with a baby sock for skin protection that’s when i started seeing really good results.

The type of clamp that you use a screwdriver to tighten?

There are hose clamps with a thumbscrew; no tools needed. I got a 2-pack of them from eBay. I sacrificed one to the hammer and bench vise, determining how tightly the plastic handle was attached. Took more pounding than I expected to break it.

There are also ones with a hex drive, that you can tighten with a nutdriver. Those have one less point of failure than the thumbscrew type, and you don’t risk stabbing yourself in the dick with a screwdriver.

The worm drive clamps can put on a *lot* more clamping load than a cable clamp. You need to be careful of that.

You want a good-quality clamp; the teeth on the worm should firmly engage the slots in the band. Cheap hose clamps can "spring" the sheet metal cover that holds the worm to the band; if that happens, the clamp won’t loosen back up. If that happens the situation is pretty grim; it can’t be cut off - stainless steel doesn’t cut easily, and one side will be embedded in your shaft so you can’t get a cutter jaw under there anyway - so the only real option is an abrasive cut-off wheel and a Dremel tool. You’re looking at cuts and burns from the wheel, assuming you can grind a slot and get the clamp off before irreversible damage happens. Even if an ER had the equipment handy, you’d be long past that point before they got started.

I’ve used a hose clamp a bit. I managed to hurt myself with it, but it was a failure of common sense, not a hardware failure. I’m not going to tell you "don’t", but you should know what you’re getting into. You can hurt yourself with a cable clamp already; a hose clamp makes it much easier.

I read about that after posting this thread, it is very similar. Have you tried the Tiger trap? Or any other unique methods from xenolith?

No. I assumed that TT just did top and bottom. Chose multiple clamps instead

Precisely, well i don’t use a screwdriver to tighten personally but a small "cutter" which perfectly fits and it’s basically impossible to cut yourself or injure yourself this way, becase it’s too small and it’s not sharp, it’s very old and funny enough was used for cheese.

I agree with what AndiJ said that it can be dangerous to use a hose clamp but personally i hurt myself way more with a cable clamp than with a hose clamp because of how different they are. Sometimes it’s painful to use when you tight it up and you don’t have perfectly shaved pubes because the sock protection isn’t really enough for the amount of pressure and grip it provides, but it did miracles to my girth, i can’t even believe the gains i had over 2 years when i switched to it.

Regarding the risk of breaking it causing to make it impossible to remove i don’t really see how that could happen for 2 reasons:

1 - If you are tightening the clamp to the point of seeing your dick turning black or practicing extreme clamping you are basically risking really bad injuries even using a cable clamp. I don’t clamp hard at all, just enough to "feel" the squeeze on my shaft to enlarge my unit for 5 minutes or less, i never had my dick turning black once just dark purple max.

2 - In the unlucky event of the hose clamp breaking making it impossible to remove, the amount of anxiety of the event will make your penis go soft immediately basically removing the hose clamp by itself. I clamp so lightly that even when i lose my erection for a bit i could potentially remove the clamp without even having to unscrew it.

I’m using the same hose clamp from 2 years and never had an issue or "signals" of it being close to break, but i guess you could purchase one every couple of months just to feel more safe and always use a fresh one, they are literally worth couple of cents anyway.

I included the warning because during my time as an auto mechanic I saw a lot of shitty hose clamps - some of them factory-installed - that were basically one-way devices. I fought those more than once. Then there were the cheap aftermarket clamps that didn’t have slots for the worm, just a heavy knurl in the band. Sometimes the worm would just spin instead of loosening the clamp. Great fun trying to get a defective clamp off a flimsy lower radiator neck, or a barely-accessible heater connection at the firewall.

A good quality hose clamp will work just fine, but without going to the point of writing an "all about hose clamps" FAQ with pictures, the best I can do is tell people to be careful.

Even though with the amount of knowledge you seem to have on the topic it would make for a great informative post.

First, I have not read all 3 pages of comments. Your theory is supported by that porn star who said he got his girth by shutting his junk in a book. Thus clamping the entire unit.

By "the right equipment", you mean a cable clamp from Home Depot, right? Is there something better?
