Shaft Hair

Shaft Hair

I know this topic has been beat to death but I still have not found the answers I need. I have pale sensitive skin and am prone to ingrown hairs.

I also have a lot of small white bumps on about 50% of the bases of all hairs on my shaft. My question is are these ingrown hairs, or just areas not affected by discoloration?

Has anybody experienced white bumps along with discoloration?

Cures?

Also,
Is tweasing going to cause ingrown hairs?

Does the Seiko Cleancut get all the way to the skin? If so, how does it do so without causing ingrown hair problems?

Thanks Guys and God Bless!

I can answer some of those questions.

Tweezing may or may not cause ingrown hairs. It’s something that you’ll just have to try and find out for yourself. Some members swear by tweezing; but I have had at least some ingrown hairs from it.

The Seiko Cleancut cuts flush with the skin. I have had no problems with ingrown hairs with the Cleancut.

Your post title is specifically about shaft hair. For shaft hair, I just use a regular double-edge razor and shaving cream. It isn’t a difficult area to shave.

I think those are fordyce spots, I have them as well, and they only go about halfway up my shaft.

RandomGiant may be right on that. See http://www.cait lainscorner.com … nt/view/535/55/ . That site refers to Fordyce spots as "small, slightly elevated yellowish or white bumps that can appear on the head or the shaft of the penis". Also see http://dermatla s.med.jhmi.edu/ … ageID=569564079 .

Yeah you’re going to be fine ;) . Also I don’t think there is any way to get rid of them so get used to them, I know they don’t bother me at all.

Thanks Guys. Wow do 50% of people really have pearly penis papules? Those look horrible!
