Hey guys can you help me out? I was wondering if I used to masterbate without lube for many years can that cause me to smell? Like if the skin is raw or something. Does raw skin smell? Plus, if you pump alot will that cause you to smell? And can it be covered up with powder or deoderant? Or should I stop all PE and masterbation for a while to let the skin heal.

If your skin is raw you shouldn’t be doing anything but going to the doctor for some corrective treatment or medication, or at least going to the drug store and getting some neosporin or fungal cream. Smelling badly down there is not the norm.I’ve pumped for years, and I don’t have any odors from doing that. Showering daily should take care of most body odors.Better have yourself checked out and be on the safe side.

Well, sometimes I smell it, is almost smells kinda musty or like shit a little, and I keep my ass clean. My balls are kinda pinkish colored, but they don’t hurt. I was just wonder if masturbating or PE could cause you to smell.

You might have a mild skin fungus that is causing the smell. You might try using an athletes foot powder to keep the area dry and clear up any possible fungus. After that, start using a medicated powder like Gold Bond to keep the area dry and fresh.

If your skin smells and is constantly raw or inflamed you have a mild fungal infection you should consult with you doctor and have him prescribe something.

The best ointment for these types of things is a cream called Nystatin used for a week or two should clear you right up. The only problem is, it is not an OTC medication it is by prescription only.

Almost forgot Discontinue any PE or masturbation until fully healed. You will only cause yourself discomfort and damage, that might lead to blister or open sores on your foreskin if uncut that is.

You can get free advice from a pharmacist at your local drug store. If you are currently on an antibiotic it may be a side effect. Jock itch and male yeast infection are slightly different fungal problems. I had a similar issue and the Dr prescribed a prescription strength anti fungal which did not work. The pharmacist said to try an OTC (over the counter) Monistat 7 cream- the smell, irritation, and discomfort was gone in less than a week.

I think what you are describing is totally normal. It’s impossible to stay pristine down there. Sometimes, there IS some musty or ass smell. It’s part of being human. Just be sure to shower before sex.
