Switch from Hanging to Manual Stretching

Recently I posted concerning the 1/8” I lack to reach my length goal. Taking someones suggestion I explored my LOT and found it to be between 7 and 8. So from what I have been reading hanging BTC will become increasingly unproductive. My question, is manual stretching at higher angles more effective than weights? Seems to me weights might be restrictive but I cannot speak from experience. Thank you in advance for you comments.

You can also hang at higher angles. Straight out (SO) or (OTS) Over the shoulder (which can also be done with a pulley in the wall or ceiling for example).

Thank you for the reply Guiri. I guess what I was looking for was opinions on which of the two methods might be more effective at the higher angles and why.
