"To cum or not to cum" after your PE workout?

I’m reviving this old thread. It would be interesting what members, old and new think about this thread.

I would chime in, however I’m just now switching to no ejaculation till well past my last PE girth related session. Can already tell this is helping the plumpness and random erections stick around for longer after.

I will cum 1-3 times typically during a session. The first one puts my cock into a much better state where it is both more elastic and at a higher erection level. My whole cock is darker with blood and I feel much better control of my PC muscles.

I don’t know why for sure but I think it’s because of the hormones in semen. But sometimes I can start with a mildly uncooperative dick and after I cum the first time I’m back on my A game.

Times after that are maybe just for fun but I do think repeating that hormone flush (if that’s what is actually happening) is helpful. If nothing else, erection level is always at it’s max just before and after ejaculations and I think it’s good to spend as much time as possible at max erection level. Or beyond it ideally.

I’ve meddled in both workout shooting and abstinence at times. I feel a better workout when I don’t shoot and I don’t edge (yet) even though I see the merit of edging and I am going to incorporate this into my routine when I finish the newbie routine. One thing I do which I find helps is doing my final warm up (down) with a full erection to really get the kegels working with the warm cloth. I find my kegel much stronger with the bonus of keeping engorged and heated may be beneficial?

Can’t really make a gaining comparison, but I always felt masturbating too much got in the way with gains somehow, I prefer edging with no ejac., I don’t really turtle so much anymore, but my flaccid remains slightly engorged after edging vs slightly empty after ejac. I know it is not a good idea to go back to your smallest flaccid after workout, at least for a few hours I guess. I no longer masturbate daily, maybe once or twice every week, but I do edge, it helps a lot.

Today I’ve read few similar threads. General idea is masturbation has close to zero correlation to gains. But people who cum once/day have smaller results than people who do few times/day or people who do once/week or abstain. Hard to say what such numbers mean, because it can be not so simple as cumming and not, but about patience, persistence and other traits which lead to better result. But there is also common opinion to stay in enlarged state for longer time and that can be true. Both people who cum multiple times daily and who abstain have that, while people who do only once/day mostly not.

My personal experience is that if I jerk off at all when working out, it works against me. If I have sex while working out, it doesn’t. — Strange

I got around it by allowing solo-completion ONLY after I did what I call “inflation” exercises by using a small nitrile rubber cock ring to overinflate him while watching porn to get a super-pump. Once I let him go after that, it wouldn’t inhibit gains and I kept gaining.

My thought is that if you’re working it out, and then cum, then it just thinks you were having some wild sex and it doesn’t gain. I also don’t think that you should be erect during working out. I work out while engorged but not erect, there is a huge difference. If I try jelquing while erect, it doesn’t do anything and I can actually feel my normal erection working against gains, like, it’s stiff against stretching of anything in there. When he is a blood filled sock, and I exercise, I get that all-around ache/tingle feeling of growth at the chamber walls and at the main tendons running up the center.

Anyway, I know my engagement on here is spotty, but good to see the community strong!

I see no reason at all why cumming would hinder gains? Mentally maybe, If you cum early in the day then you might lose the drive? I get stretches in throughout the day and before bed I stretch then do girth work and most of the time I will cum then go to bed, still get an erection throughout my sleep and wake up 99% of the time with a pulsing erection.

Agree with longforschlong, in that cumming after a workout deflates ME like a balloon with a pinhole (which I believe is a big negative). I lose that positive heavy flaccid time.

Also think mike142’s “wild-sex” theory make sense. “Engorged but not erect”, completely agree as well, makes for a much better tunica workout in my opinion.

No-blow for me, except for the occasional accident. Unfortunately I don’t have enough time under my belt to comment on the effect with regards to gains.

FWIW, I also think it’s different for everyone. So, you may not have any downside to letting it fly after a workout. All I am saying here is that when I do it… he is content and I don’t keep the pump, and maybe LocoGringo is saying what I’m feeling. I lose the heavy “pump” after, which I think is part of gaining in my case. Also, I feel like if I go a few days without jerking off, and only do that when I’m resting on non-stretch days, you’re bound to be more horney, and have more unconsious erections (while sleeping and such). When I don’t have sex or jerk of, I get hard, like, all the time, and I feel like that helps out “Filling out the stretch” in my workout routine.

I mean, if you jerk it, and it stays pumped up and happy well afterwords, good on you (and you are probably a young dude!!!! — I am getting old…)

Have you tried to cum multiple times during day? That actually works different way. Penis becomes enlarged and you get random erections during day too. And during stimulation it’s almost pumped.

I am finding if I don’t cum then when I do decide to cum during sex or whenever my EQ is better, And my orgasms are more intense, plus I cum a lot more. I also find if I cum after my PE my urethra burns for a bit, like when you pee after you cum. I feels my gains are better when I don’t cum.

For PE: My experience with my own penis says that I better not ejaculate because the expansion I get after is not the same as before the first ejaculation and so on, also I don’t know if any of you have the same thing as me, but after I ejaculate I feel so much soreness in my penis and some pain in the flaccid state that it makes no good to me, interesting fact is that it only happens when I ejaculate through masturbation with my hands, and this could mistake or confuse the soreness of the PE workout and this soreness after cum, leading to wrong conclusions about whether the PE workout was good and lead to fatigue.

Rotated Penis? Unbalanced Ligaments? Lack of Gains through Manual Routine?

With my years of doing PE, I have found that minimal cumming with maximum edging is the best route and what has resulted in the most/fastest gains for me. I always edge and measure after each PE routine as a means to telling how effective my routine is. As long as I am at least 1/8” longer or thicker than my regular length/girth, then my routine is effective enough to gain size over time and I only cum as a way of congratulating myself after I’ve reached a new length/girth size while doing my edging. I know that everyone is different but as others have stated, the lack of cumming leaves me in a much more “full” state both length and girth wise and leaves my penis more accustomed to the increased size, even if it is just temporary at that time.
