What's the most widely successful method?

If we were to scan the boards in search of the most widely successful PE method (jelqing, clamping, pumping, etc), what do you guys think it would be? Think of it this way… there are no long term studies with regard to manual PE? We are the study. These boards are the collective study. I’d really like to see us put something together.

Stretching, I believe, is responsible for most guys fast gains as newbies and therefore must be credited as being the most succesful for giving the most immediate satisfaction because length change (flaccid change, particularly), is the most perceptible.

I think all PE is some form of stretching or another. Can you be more specific. Also, would one of you mods mind moving this to the main forum? I forgot to put it there.

I’d say hanging. If you hang enough weight for enough time, it WILL get longer. There’s no arguing with physics.

I agree. I’d also say clamping is a close second.

I’m with iamaru. Another vote for newbie routine.

The newbie routine always works well because it is newbies that use it. Newbies gain far easier than those who are “broken in”. I’d say it would be the least effective because it’s not enough for most experienced guys. But obviously it’s great when just starting out because its pretty safe and low volume.

Excellent guys. This is exactly what we need. Keep them coming. Also, thanks to the mod who moved this thread. Now, how can we make this into a poll?

I think this is spot on. My gains have not been great and could very well be because I’m better at measuring length (although I’ve tried to be as consistent as possible). But, I had been using a pump for about 5 years on and off before then (usually at high vacuums for short periods of time, 20min, that’s the disadvantage of not knowing about these sites before I started using pumping - bad technique!). So my unit is probably over-conditioned, and the newbies routine isn’t doing much for me.

Deckker, what kind of gains did you see with pumping? Also, at what pressures would you do a 20 minutes session and how often in a day?

Would you guys mind throwing in the gains you’ve seen with these mentioned techniques?

I gained a good half inch from the newbie routine, in around 4 months. With some JAI’s and fowfers thrown in for good measure after around the 6 week mark.

My then gf, who was by no means complimentary by nature even commented on the size difference (she didnt know I was PE’ing) so I knew it wasn’t in my head.


Currently 6.5 NBP 5.5EG.
