Stumbled on this thread, but it makes a whole lot of sense to me.. Lurked for awhile, and have experimented with many of the available techniques over the past year before realizing that I simply need to start back in (after a good break) with a low level newbie routine, keep a close eye on PIs, and pursue that which produces gains for me specifically.
Kinda hate that so many of the available approaches feel good and can produce that “instant-gratification” enthusiasm (big visible swells), because it makes it exceptionally difficult for a motivated newbie to go slow and steady, and get their initial gains from the newbie formula.
I keep pretty good notes, but may only post the criticals, if I can ever be of assistance then please let me know.
Many thanks go to SparkyX (et al), I think the gains thread you started so long ago has helped keep me from overworking my unit and potentially crashing any newbie gains I might be lucky enough to get.
