When to switch to girth?

I decided to commit to length only for now because my girth is pretty weak right now and I figured I might as well get my length while it’s easiest. My final goal is to be 8.5BPEL x 5.75 midshaft girth x 6 base girth. I’m currently 7.75 BPEL x roughly 4.75 midshaft x 5 base girth. I’m roughly 3/4 an inch from my final length goal and an inch away from my girth goal.

My question is when should I switch to my all out girth routine (which I’ve already tried and tested on myself and it works great :) )? I’ve heard about people gaining length from girth routines and all, but my routine I’ll be doing will only involve girth-type jelqs, horses, ulis, and maybe clamping. I don’t want to get to 8.5BPEL and then do girth because it’ll probably cause me to become longer and I really don’t want that (haha never thought I’d say that ;) ).

Basically what are your experiences (vets and anyone else) with doing girth routines and how it has affected your length? My estimation was to stop my length stuff at 8BPEL and then do my all out girth routine till I hit my girth goal and hopefully that’ll put me where I want to end up :) .

An extra inch of girth will take a while and if you are doing jelqs for it, you should gain some length at the same time. It depends really on how easily you gain girth. If I were you, I’d start on girth now, just to see what your gain rate is. If you gain girth easily, go to a combined girth/length routine and subtly play with it to get the length/girth results you want. If you don’t gain girth easily, you should concentrate just on girth; the length gains might take care of themselves if you have to spend a long time getting the girth.

My thoughts on this, and I shall start doing it soon because I am close to my length goal, is a split routine to start off with. One day length, one day girth, then rest day. Just to get my dick use to the extra workout, and the switch to only girth in a month or two depending on weather or not I meet my length goal. I’m taking the body builder approach to PE and it is working out pretty well. I’ll take a week off sometime soon and then start the new routine mentioned.

I know PE is not related to muscles, but muscles routines are a good way to split your workout.

Im really wanting to start on girth too and this is why Ive been adding clamping and pumping together. Since starting PE a year ago, I have gained very little to no girth at all but quite a bit in length. Although many believe the “8” in the legendary 8x6 is BP, I always wanted it to be NBP but lately Ive decided if I can hit 7.5”NBP I will stop focussing on length and go for girth. At the same time, I dont want to be unproportioned either. I would really be satisfied with 5.5” girth since it seems so very hard for me to gain girth and 6” would be a shot in the dark. With this said, I understand how you feel Johnno, trust me.

I have been a slow gainer on girth, worked with manual stretching and jelqing in the beginning and gained some girth but mostly length. Later I started doing some horses and clamping which seemed to work fairly good but I overdid it slightly and decided to take a break, that was 2 months ago and now I started to go at it again, starting slowly with manual stretching. I can already tell that taking a break was a really good thing to do since it seems I’m gaining more again. I was not gaining so much right before I took the break.

I have been looking for a safer way to get girth and I’d like to recommend orange bends or obends. It is too early to say if my current girth gains are temporary since I have only been doing them for 5 days, but I’m seeing really good results and feel pretty much no strain while performing the orange bends, so this seems like a very good excersise. What is good is that it seems to be affecting the width of the unit most which is what I mostly after, compared to things like horses which expands the underside of the unit mostly. It might take a while before you get the hang of doing the orange bends correctly though, but they can give quite a lot of expansion without putting too much stress on the penis.

Have others found this?: it does make logical sense. I’ve never concentrated for long enough on orange bends to get a result I could specifically attribute to them, but my CS has grown more than my CCs, and I should really restore proportions (even though sometimes it is ‘out of proportion’ which makes the dick look larger).

Doing an all girth rooutine I lost about 0.4inchs in length but my girth increased about 0.1-0.3inches. I don’t know what I did to make a bad tradeoff like that. The routine consisted mainly of jelqing I thought I would have at least gained or maintained my length.

I happen to be lucky enough that I’m a fairly easy gainer and fairly balanced too (with the routine I’ve adopted).

I, when concentrating on length only, can proabably get 1/8’ a month if I stick to it and get good sleep. A month ago when I spent a month doing a length-girth-length-girth-length-girth-rest routine. From this I gained maybe 1/16” of length and got 1/8” of girth. This makes me feel that I could get more than 1/8” of girth if I had a 2on 1off of just my girth routine.

The whole reason I stopped doing my jelqing and started doing just stretching in the first place was because of a minor injury I had to wait to take care of. It’s basically fine now but I’m just being safe. I’ll probably end up going back to both length and girth soon but I then figured this…
I have read that it’s easier to gain length if your girth is less so should this be a factor to consider?

Iv’e been working on mostly girth for the past six weeks, but I also do jelqs as well.

Can one work on both projects at the same time?

I can. I’m just trying to be the most time efficient I can be. My ideal would be to get to my final goal in the least time, of course though, I am not rushing.

I just want to approach reaching my final goal in the best and fastest way possible.

So I guess I’ll do my length stuff for another 2 weeks and then I’ll switch back to my length and girth routine combo. In 2 weeks my injury that kept me from doing girth stuff should be gone and actually have had extra time to heal.

Why would you do girth and length exercises separately ? I do them at the same time so I can benefit from both girth and length gains and yes, I have benefited greatly :D

:nodding: You aren’t the only one.

Well after stretching my dick head is always a bit sensitive so I don’t like to do my girth stuff right after. I choose to do them on seperate days and it has been working well. Another factor is that this cuts back on the time I spend in the bathroom each day, greatly. My stretcing routine is done and overwith within 20 minutes- it’s better than my old hour long sessions.

There seem to be three schools of thought on this:

#1) Train both at the same time.
#2) Train girth AFTER you have achieved your maximum length goal, while cementing the length.
#3) Train in cycles of pure length, then pure girth.

Not sure which is better, that’s for you to decide. My opinion is #2.
