Why length then girth combined routine

Why length then girth combined routine

Hey guys.

I would like to bring up a little point as to why many of you guys that combine you PE into length and then girth. I have noticed it around in some of your post or signature’s e.g “hang then clamp, in that order” and “don’t clamp then stretch” or “stretch/jelq then pump” etc.

So why do you do it? I can understand the dangerous of clamping then hanging. But why stretch then jelq/pump. The reason I am asking this is because I have altered my routine.

My new routine includes my extender and bathmate. I have not had much success with jelqing and stretching so I think my routine fits well. Because I have not had much success with basic stretching and jelqing I have decided to come up with another strategy. Basically instead of 10 minutes of jelqs, I will pump my bathmate at low pressure for 10 minutes as a warm up. Then instead of stretching for a number of times I will strap on my extender (0.5cm past my bpfsl) for a few hours and then finish of with a pump from the bathmate for 15 minutes. I tried this last night and I really liked the idea.

The reason I have included my extender in my routine, is not the fact that I am not having much success with my bathmate, but because I have heard better progress when combining stretches and jelqs prior to the pump session. It was not until I stumbled across a poster, that mentioned he could not gain girth very well. But after he added in a few manual stretches before his PE girth work he started to see more positive gains. And that got me thinking. He used the phrase “it’s like blowing up a balloon, if you try to blow a ballon up you will find it very hard to expand, but after you stretch it somewhat, the balloon is easier to blow up” etc. I am sure I have heard this type of phrase a lot on this board, and to me, that makes sense. So if your reading this man, I thank you.

I had had a look around the web for a combined extender and pump routine, with little luck. There are a few post but the seem to fade rather quickly. A few that I did read “including here” mentioned if you were to use your extender during the day, you should pump at night. And many of the following posts recommended the same. But why?

So far I had it in my head that that was the way to go. But I recently came across a DLD thread (I believe he had been a member here for a while). Now he talks good things about the bathmate, but as I have learned that he is more than likely trying to promote the product, blah blah. When looking at his post he recommended that you should stretch a little, then pump the bathmate for 20 minutes solid, then wear the extender for a few hours after and you should achieve good combined girth and length gains.

So why would he suggest one thing, but others suggest the opposite? Does it make a difference? Is one better than the other? Is everyone different and can only gain in different ways?

I have noticed a few good gainers out there that did 50 blasters (don’t know what they are but sounds like girth work) then put on the device and gained 0.7” in length and 0.5” in girth in ruffley over 3 months. Which to me was is fast. Another guy on a web page stated he jelqed then stretched and gained a good bit of girth with his length, something like 1.3” in length and 0.8” in girth. But I hear other people stretching and then jelqing to gain 1” in length and only 0.25” in girth.

To me. If you expand the tissues girth wise then stretch for a number of hours, it will heal and stretch in a more of an expanded state, and making chances of growing length and girth in proportion seems possible. A better chance of keeping your post pump last longer/stretched out? A stretched penis holds more blood than a flaccid? For me when in the extender I have a bigger volume overall than my post pumps. But when were to stretch first, then pump, I fill the micro tears with fresh blood, but my post pump will always return to it’s normal state the next day.

Again these are just my thoughts on the subject, I am not saying I’ve made a new discovery, I just want to share with you guys what I have been thinking about and would very much like to have a discussion with gainers that have gained length and girth simultaneously.

So guys, why do you do it? Is there something missing. I know many of you do girth after a length work out, so I have no reason to believe that you are making this up after having good gains. I just think I am missing something. I really would like to know why DLD suggested pump then extender for a few hours, because to me it seems that you could gain more girth with length.

This post is aimed to anyone who combines these. I.E hang then pump/clamp, stretch then jelq/pump.

I would like to hear all of your thoughts.

Thanks guys

I noticed there a few typo’s and mistakes in my thread. I tried to edit it but I guess I didn’t do it quick enough.

Apologies.

I used a bathmate at a low vacuum as a warm up tool before hanging. It was the first routine that ever gave me any gains. I was very careful though as everybody says not to pump before hanging, and I would take a break between coming out of the bathmate and attaching the hanger.

How long a warm up in the bathamte? Did you gain any girth when combing the bathmate with your hanging routine?

Keep em coming.

Isn’t the thing here that you should first do stretching or hanging until you have reached your length goal. Then go for girth. I don’t think it is about doing length and girth exercises at the same day. Rather to spend like 2 years on length to achieve your length goal, then turn into girth exercises for girth goal.

Two words for you: Newbie routine.

So we have new guys start out with a very safe and generic PE routine till they learn how the old trouser trout responds. The majority of guys find length gains much easier to come by.

I have used a girth then length workout in the past to get off of a plateau in the past. Same rational as mentioned by shiby. I do think that the chance of injury goes way up and that this shouldn’t be attempted by n00bs or those with poor self monitoring and safety skills.

Yes that is the norm on this site. But for me. I only want to gain 0.5” in length. So to me, I’d rather combine length and girth.

My question is, why most people on this site do girth work after length (if they do that is)? I hear many people saying when they wear a stretcher, they jelq afterwards. When people hang they pump/clamp/jelq afterwards. So why afterwards? Is there any benefit to do this after a length routine?

So far this is the norm, but what made me question myself is the fact that DLD stated “you will get good length and girth gains” when pumping BEFORE wearing the extender for a number of hours. So why does he suggest that girth before length will work well where as most people on this site would not recommended this?

When brain storming. I was thinking if my unit was nice and thick, then was to stretch for a number of hours. Will I have a better chance of gaining girth with length. Another one liner DLD posted was “girth is lengths best friend”.

Lol. I’m rambling again. What I’m trying to say is. If a man was aiming for length by doing length exercises and girth after I.E Newbie routine. Would he gain 1” in length and 0.25” in girth. Then have a man who would do girth before length routine (bearing in mind he is in the extender afterwards) would he gain 1” in length and 0.75” in girth?

I have seen some cases of this happening when they make there routine girth before length. I was just wanting to hear other people opinions.

Great post shiby,
I always love to see fellow PE’ers question the norm and think out of the box. However if you really wanted to rest this theory then you would have to arrange routines like a science experiment each lasting two weeks with separate length and girth routines for the control group, Alpha: length routine then girth routine, Beta: girth routine them length routine. Then compare results for the 8 weeks as proof which routine is more beneficial for length and which for girth.

One question I have always wondered with stretches is why do most routes call for you to grip behind the head to stretch all the time? Wouldn’t it make more sense to pull from the base for a short period of time, rest then move up half an inch to an inch and stretch again and continue? If my theory is correct that will help lessen the “pulled taffy” look a few guys get.

Good post. I wanted to say it’s an excellent point you are getting at. Like many before me, I only care about making 0.5 inches in length…if any. I only say that because I stretch just to warm up and other safety reasons for my girth exercises. IMO, for my personal reasons, I am lacking in the girth department. I have heard it many times over from partners, “your dick is plenty long enough, but it’s not thick at all.” Time to end all that and go all out girth! But without a good manual stretching even as a warm up I feel my dick isn’t “elastic” enough for the outward stretching that is happening in the tube. I also hop into a hot bath before any type of PEing is happening. My two cents.

Sorry, not sure if I made my post clear enough. The above post is meant to be written like this

(If a man was aiming more for length by doing length exercises and girth after I.E (stretching/extender/hanging then jelqing/pumping to finish up). Would he gain 1” in length and 0.25” in girth. Then have a man who would do girth before length routine (e.g pumping/jelqing then extender/hanging afterwards) would he gain 1” in length and 0.75” in girth?)

To me it seems that the previous girth work is somewhat still getting used, or is still playing some type of role when getting stretched later on.… . If that makes sense.

Well I’m going to put it too the test.

First girth before length. One month later other way around.
