This has happened to me from time to time and I use to freak out when I saw this and thought something was terribly wrong. After a bit of research, I found that this happens to a large percentage of the male population and is caused by any number of things like diet, aging, time between ejaculations, etc. There are could be some other underlying problems but only in drastic cases where it’s always discolored.
I took the theory for a test drive to check and masturbated or had sex every day for two weeks. Every load was milky white and fairly thick (I tried to maintain a constant diet and fluid intake as well). I did the opposite for the next two weeks - no masturbation and no sex, same diet. Aside from being very irritable from not getting any, the theory was confirmed: my semen was pretty runny and had a slight yellowish tint. Also, the volume wasn’t as high as I expected, and the intensity was really decreased. Things cleared up after another ejaculation the next day and everything went back to normal.
Lesson learned: keep the pipes free and clear and always stay loaded with fresh bullets.
