Goon: I appreciate your concern as well as all the warnings I’ve received from others the last couple of years. I HAVE spoken with Doc about this, and of course she says it is just one more aspect of my PE career that is dangerous. Even Monty warns not to wear them bare and has offered to re-dip all my weights for me.
I say I haven’t had any problems, but who knows? From what I understand one of the first symptoms of lead poisoning is absent mindedness and Alzheimer’s like stupors. Because I drink wine and smoke reefer I probably would be slow to notice this kind of change in my mental state. If there has been any of this I certainly don’t remember. :cancer:
The trouble is I just can’t wear them with the holes any smaller, and the rubber dip really narrows up the holes. I have two sets of three all without the rubber jackets. The smaller set I use as an ADS after heavy hang sessions when my girth is stretched out at its thinnest. I can only get them on after soaping up in the shower and have to take them off the same way, but they fit comfortably without wrap. But after even one ten minute clamp set, forget it. I can’t even get those rings on with lube. The bigger set fit perfectly after girth work but they are tight, and I know they wouldn’t fit with the rubber on. It’s not only the size, but the rubber against skin really chafes whereas the smooth metal is very comfy.
However, mravg mentions paint. I never thought about painting them. Maybe a lead free paint or rubberized paint might be the compromise I’ve been looking for. I’ll check Home Depot, see what they have.
But I really think one two pound lead weight the shape of a long flaccid dick would be a great addition to our Forum arsenal. Maybe we should do a poll just to see how many people would be interested in something like this. Even if only enough guys were interested to cover the price of the mold Monty would probably make it. I’m not sure if a poll like that would be permitted or against guidelines. Maybe one of the mods will chime in.
Also, I’d like to comment on what sparky was saying. We’ve been talking about this via PMs. Or that is HE has been talking, I’ve mostly been listening. I think this might be a good method and maybe my last stab at gaining a little more length before I retire.
Let’s say on Monday a guy hangs one very intense session, I mean really breaks down the tissue to the point of fatigue with as much weight and time as he can take without injury. Then for the next three days, until the same time or a little over on Thursday night or even Friday, at least the 72 hours it takes connective tissue to completely heal, he wears either the peweights or uses an Extender and/or Fowfering techniques or whatever methods he chooses but keeps the tissue completely extended with moderate weight or tension until the micro tears are completely healed. If a person has a comfortable ADS for both sitting and standing, and has a good understanding of Fowfers, especially during the hours of sleep, it seems reasonable to me that this might just be the best approach to length gains for hard gainers, especially for seasoned vets who have toughened their ligs and tunica to the consistency of iron. This would be a very time efficient and doable routine for a lot of guys who are killing themselves with a seven day a week routine. Like me.
