Hi
I am also struggling to get a grip on myself (hehe), I have a rods and noose traction extender and I have learned the following so far:
- A washed and dry noose on a washed and dry penis sticks almost like if by magic, but when the tension approaches 10N (around 1kg, usually the first notch on the device) the grip required to hold that tension hurts the penis.
- A piece of old t-shirt folded in two (so that there are two layers) placed between noose and skin seems to make it hurt less, but after two hours it has stuck to the skin so hard that removing it causes damage. To prevent this, I drop a few drops of water on it, wait a few seconds and it comes off fine (this was a moderate step forward for me, I got a minor injury under the corona and now it’s fine).
- Seems to me that no matter how you grip with the noose, any tension that can be expected to produce gains will hurt after two hours
- For me at least, gripping over the foreskin is pointless. It will slide off and much of the tension will be applied to the foreskin, which I have no interest in stretching. I always grip right under the corona.
- The best tension (and stretch) that I’ve been able to achieve is by modifying the extender. I use a silicone sleeve from an ADS but with no cup on the glans. I put it so that it covers the glans and about one cm further, because on the groove under the corona I put a piece of soft rubber hose around it to increase the grip. The silicone sleeve (if washed) also sticks wonderfully, and the force is spread on the groove under the corona, the corona and the glans itself. It’s almost as good as using one’s hand. Then I stretch up the sleeve over and behind the cradle and use the silicone strap to keep it there (inserted from back to front). I can apply well above 10N if I want, and no signs of damage yet, only minor "toughening" of the glans skin. Anyway, my point was that the highest tension and comfort were by modifying the grip system.
Someone ought to make a thread on gripping tips and/or mods.
