How to Read & Adjust Rod style Traction Devices (X4/Size Genetics/JES/Similar)

I am more referring to inconsistent tension because the chinese copy of proextender has many tiny treads. I can’t count or put a mark using fingernails on what I used the other day so I am more relying on what I feel is enough stretch. I really want help on which extender to use to replace my existing one.

I have used the PenimasterPro vacuum style system and the X4 Labs system. I got sick of fighting blisters on my gland using the PMP and vacuum style attachment systems so I gave up on them. Others have great experiences with them and if you can side step blisters they are a more comfortable option in my opinion.

Most of my hours, almost 2000 are with the x4 extender using the strap not the noose.

While the x4 is not the least expensive option I have found it to hold up. I will replace straps and foam comfort pads as they break and degrade so those are recurring cost. I don’t have issues with the X4.

On your current extender you could try using a black permanent marker to highlight three positions on each rod dividing the tension into 3rds, 33%, 66%, 100%. This might be a work around while you make your longer term decision.

Others will hopefully add complimentary or counter suggestions and recommendations based on their experiences.

I think that maybe it might be a good idea to rest a few days.

Thank LE. Will try to do that permanent marker hack. I don’t think PMP would be one of my option as its almost twice the price of X4 labs. But I will consider X4 labs.

Yes thank you. Currently on rest due to this pain feeling.

I just started using an X4 extender. After some trial and error, I think I now mostly understand how it works and what I need to do. I just have one question. Should I be aiming for 2/3rds tension or is 1/3rd tension good enough? I’m not sure if my glans is too small or maybe my flaccid is too spongy or I don’t even know what, but I can’t get the noose to stay attached at 2/3rd tension.

Those tension marks represent a certain amount of tension, but I can never remember what they are. I shoot for 50% as that is the amount I can tolerate for an hour.

As to the value of staying at the first mark, the conventional wisdom says that even low amounts of tension will generate results with time.

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

From reading this read, I found out the more marks are visible on the rod, the lower the tension. So 2/3rd would be compressing the rods until 2 marks are no longer visible.

It sounds like 1/3rd tension is good enough, but I’m still gonna try doing a bunch of Ulis starting tomorrow. A fatter head might make it easier to secure the noose.

That’s correct.

Hello, I’m new to the whole extender thing, I just got mine three days ago (size genetics) and it was hard for me to figure out how to put it on, I didn’t know how to put on the noose, so I went with the strap which hurt my “head”, I used the protection pad and it helped sort of. Anyway, the real reason I’m on here today, is because I had trouble with the elongation bars, I have a girth bigger than the front piece could fit, so I used smallest bars to make it easier to fit. The bars keep getting stuck inside the front piece, I would try to screwing them in as tight as possible, but they keep getting stuck and this time I think for good, and to make matters worse, one of the springs fell into the faucet and I can’t get it out, any help? I really hope I didnt waste my money on loose, discombobulated bars.

To get around the attachment problem, I simply use the VLC tugger attachment with the X4 and have had zero problems with slippage.

Lucky, 32 is correct.

What you can do is start your own progress thread and then link back to those pics that are in your own thread.

Thanks for jumping in with us!

Picks? Picks? Picks? Maybe “pics” would make better sense.

Does anyone know where I can get stealthier golf weights for an ADS? I like using the golf weight more than anything but they are kind of bulky and sometime they are noticeable. I would like one like Monty’s size but I cannot find any anywhere.
