I have to concur with this. thoughtfulgold pointed this out to me and it allowed me to identify patterns in which the tug back response was triggered and gives an indication of the level of tension and session duration that the tissues are able to handle. It’s another useful qualitative measure to keep an eye out for. Don’t be discouraged by it though, it just means that you have to back off the tension some and get the session duration up for a time until the tissues have accommodated enough to handle the higher tension.
Also I wouldn’t be hard on yourself, for one we have a propensity to push and so we speak of temperance which is certainly a good thing to work on in any venue and secondly the “sweetspot” that we’re aiming for has very tight parameters, I shit you not. Today at the end of the second session I added 8% tension to the one side and that was too much, the noose slipped immediately after holding for an hour.
