just purchased a extender.

hey all just purchased a extender, my question is what is everyone using to wrap with, I have been seeing people using theraban and ace bandage.

I use sports wrap, it’s in the same section of the drugstore as Ace bandage, I use about 18”, are you using a noose or a strap?

I will be using the strap, more than likely do the velcrow mod.

Thats a great way to go. I use a more complex wrap underneath. First a bit of soft bandage directly behind the glans and then the sports wrap on top but a bit behind so the edge of the harsher sports wrap does not irritate the glans and finally a short silicone sleeve on top. If you use the Velcro wrap just make sure the leading edge of the strap does not touch your glans

The Velcro mod is definitely the way to go. I’ve been extending a few years now, when I started out I needed more wrapping​, it’s just something you’ll have to experiment with to some degree.

by the way what I purchased was a x4labs extender, I payed 50 dollars for it, I will be doing the velcrow mod for the time being, id like to eventually do the vlc tugger mod.

I just hate any mod that doesn’t allow me to see the state of circulation in the head at all times. So it’s the softest silicone noose available and nothing else, for me.

I will eventually be doing the vlc tugger mod.

I use a tensor bandage with the comfort strap on my x4. That memory foam crap they give you almost feels like sand paper trying to get it on and off. Plus the tensor bandage helps keep your unit warmer I find.

Now to just make the base a little more comfortable.

pretty much a ace bandage right, are you using anything between it and your skin for slippage.

Nope. I just wrap my whole unit with it and strap it in. I don’t really have a whole lot of problems with slippage.

The VLC Tugger mod has worked really well with my foreskin and made using an extender possible. Just had to provide accurate measurements when ordering.

I just started messing around with my extender and will try this.

Another vote for the Ace bandage.

I’ve tried several other wraps and found the Ace to be very low on the hassle factor scale, and trust me, the longer you do this the more important it is that you’re able to strap in quickly.

If it takes too long, or is too much of a hassle, you’ll start skipping days and once you do this it’s only a matter of time before your device starts gathering dust.
