As for the angles, if the extender is supposed to promote cell division then it shouldnt matter what angle its in. Its no stretching the ligaments, at least not if you are not using extreme traction.
I am aware of the claim that growth is primarily from cellular division, but if that’s true, then why are people stalling at 6 months & not getting growth? I think it’s just a part of the truth & more forces are at play. If you’re having great success, stick with what you’re doing.
There’s well known fundamentals & I suggest that anyone who stops growing should become familiar with those fundamentals & think about changing their approach (try adding a manual routine like stretches or jelqs, apply heat, leverage different rest day cadence, try new angles (don’t always pull from the same angle & never change it, or if all else fails, there’s always the deconditioning break option).
If everything is working, I think it’s best not to change what you’re doing… but if gains are too slow (or nil), it’s a signal to try something new. My gains stalled for a long time hanging (I think I had a whole year with almost no gains). In hindsight I was making a few mistakes with my approach.
