Anybody use a shock set?

I have been contemplating the use of a shock set every three days. This would consist of a 40-45 LB set that one would work up to no more than five (5) minutes. The idea is to enter the plastic region for a few minutes at most.

This would be done only after your second set of the day.

I’ve done something similar a couple years ago. I’ve only gained maybe 1/3- 1/2 inch at very most, and to think about it I may have gained doing this ,along with straight out hanging. I’d increase the weight 5 lbs above my max. May try this out. Would be good idea, if possible , when you reduce weight to finish the set or hang for another ten minutes. Up to fifteen.

I don’t think this is a shock set though is it?

I definitely wouldn’t do this if you could have sex soon, unless it’s regular for you and you’re okay with Ed, because it could cause some Ed. It can also cause turtling , obviously. Obviously technique must be flawless or close to it with this. And yes second set. Heat would be a good idea before.

Thanks for the reply and advice. I agree 100%. Yes, technique must be flawless. Not something a newbie should attempt. I am thinking of using this every two to three days and limiting it to 5 minutes at most.

I just named it “shock set” because it seemed like a logical name for it but did not know that the term was already in use in reference to a clamping technique.

I first saw it over on biohacker forum M9s thread, if I’m mistaken.
