Anyone using Ultrasound?

Anyone using Ultrasound?

Hey guys!

Well, I’m back on the PE train, again! This time hopefully I can stick with it for long enough to see some serious results because I would at least like to get up to 7” BPEL. An inch isn’t too much to ask for, right?

Anyway, I’ve been hanging (up to 5x17min at 3-4lbs) for the past two weeks with no rest day, using heat (IR heating pads) and starting to introduce cooling while still hanging (since that is apparently being shown as effective). It is going great as far as no injuries nor discoloration, plus my EQ is stellar. There has been a slight gain in BPSFL, as expected, and nothing in BPEL, as expected.

So, with all that background, what I’m wondering is if anybody is using ultrasound (US) instead of heating. I’ve been reading several studies on it and it seems to have an effect on collagen tissue that would be beneficial to PE. I also noticed that US units are going for $100 bucks which isn’t bad at all if it really helps with the elongation of collagen tissue. I was thinking about getting a unit and using the ultrasound for like the first 7-10 mins of hanging and then letting my dick just chill for the remainder of the time. I’m hoping someone has already gone down this road and could guide me a bit.

I should note I’m hanging SO and will add fulcrum once I get my sets up to 20mins a peices. This is because I’m not going for lig gains (I don’t want to effect my erection angle cause its already low enough for me). So I’m working against the tunica and the damn Dorsal Thickening/Septum cord of steel thing!

Thanks guys and keep growing!

I don’t usea heat for my hanging :P but now i am hangig BTC when i start with the upper angles maybe i would try something new :)

I abandoned ultrasound in my clinic a long time ago. Lots of wonderful scientific studies done on it, by people who stand to make money out of it. (It does have it’s place, but it’s vastly over-used, out of laziness, by many therapists).

Go with IR; you will find it vastly superior to ultrasound for our purposes.

Hmmm. I had my hopes up on it because IR was showing results with rat tendons, but I couldn’t find any studies on humans. Ultrasound, however has shown results in human studies. I would think that combining it with hanging would be perfect. Are you saying that you have tried it and it did nothing?

I’ve thought about ultrasound quite a bit but have never decided to try it. I’d really like to know how it goes if you try it out. Maybe you can get an IR lamp and compare them.

The thing with ultra sound is you need to have good contact with the skin by a cream or a gel or something, otherwise there will hardly be the sound transference. With an IR lamp you don’t need direct contact with the source.

Yeah, with the way I hang the majority of my shaft is exposed so I would be able to apply ultrasound without any problem. I mean, I’d rather not have to move it around and all during the application because I’m kinda lazy and do other things whilst I hang, but if it really works then I’ll do it.

Still hoping to hear from somebody with some experience. There may be none since ultrasound was pretty cost prohibitive for a while.

It will work. Just not as well as IR. All you are doing is providing heat to increase the extensibility of the connective tissue. Ultrasound will provide a focused source of deep heat. IR will provide more than enough penetration for the diameter of your penis; a generalised penetrating heat, targeting all the tissue you want to stretch. If you were wanting to get down to 2”+, ultrasound may have more viability, but that is unnecessary to us.

It can, used well and set correctly, be useful with scar tissue, but using IR and manual friction works better, in my experience.

Hmm, interesting. I wasn’t sure if Ultrasound varied from IR in any other way aside from penetration and that it is absorbed by more dense tissues as compared to IR. I mean, I know they both transmit heat through waves, but they are two different types of waves (Sound/Longitudinal and Light/Transverse) so one might think that the net effect could be different. Anyway, I’m probably not going to just go out and get one because I’m still building up my hang time and weight. I’m just always thinking could I being doing this better or more efficiently, ya know!

That’s how we learn! :)
