Nothing wrong with 10-15 minute sets. 20 is simply the maximum I recommend. Many guys have made good gains using less than 20.

If i tighten my bibhanger i fasten the screws tight enough to feel some slight pain and then losen it a little bit.
This is my tightening strength, do you think this is ok. It feels ok. <
First, be sure you set the bottom inner hex nuts where they need to be, and then tighten the two bottom wing nuts on the right side down completely before you ever put the hanger on. Then use only the top wing nut to get the correct tightness.
As far as tightening goes, if you tighten down to a little discomfort, then wait a bit, the discomfort will go away, and you can even tighten a little more. That is for future use. With only three pounds, that is probably not needed.
Also later, you might want to tighten a little more after hanging a minute or so.
