Contradictions of Indicators - LOT / Exit Point

First off sorry… I am an anal engineer try to grasp as much knowledge as possible about hanging.

Trying to do the LoT test and with a light tug I can visually pull back my penis (with a Kegel) from 12 o’clock all the way down to 5-5:30 (beyond 6).
This would indicate that low angles would not be the best use of my hanging time and that gains are going to be slow.

Then, I do Bib’s mirror test and my exit point is extremely high. This would indicate that low angles (BTC) would be a good method of attack.

Not a big deal but if I could save a couple of months of wasted time, I would prefer to do that. I also just want to understand as much as possible being that for 10 hrs/week I have weights dangling from my unit.

Thanks for the reply.

Your images are a perfect example of the difference in exit points (mirror test). My exit point is a good 3 plus inches higher then yours.

It’s not something I’ve ever considered.

Based on exit point you probably should start with BTC if you want to follow that. I don’t really think it would hurt you to hit SD also and even other angles.

Honestly with your engineering background you probably should just read and then start keeping data of everything that you do. My other advice would be to go by feel if your body is telling you that something doesn’t feel right. That is a little bit of the art of hanging. Knowing the difference between soreness and pain. Knowing if it is just the skin or something deeper that is giving you problems.

Ok, even if the LoT thing is or isn’t dis-proven, this whole thing kept bugging me.

So, more research and some made sense. Some of the movement I see may not count against the LoT. There is a huge drop in the pull back at a much higher angle, more around 10:00. Then the minor movement at the lower angles could just be attributed to the muscle flex of the Kegel.

My bad… even with the search button it is difficult to find all the info to your questions.
