Hanging - Increase Weight or Swing?

Hey guys, I have a question about best way to reach fatigue.

Let’s say you’re hanging with 10 pounds SD.

You’re not able to reach fatigue with 10 pounds SD.

You can reach fatigue if you add 1.5 pounds totaling 11.5 pounds.

Or you can reach fatigue with 10 pounds if you swing while hanging in a circular motion.

What’s the best course of action to reach fatigue?

It seems adding weight, or 1.5 pounds in this example, will be continuing with your current angle of attack.

While maintaining the weight of 10 pounds while swinging will actually be slightly targeting other angles (BTC, SO, OTL).

What do you guys think is the best course of action?

Just wanted to follow up if anyone else experienced this situation.

I’ve decided to increase weight to target my primary angle of attack, instead of swinging with the same weight which would be targeting other angles of attack.

As I get to the high teens in weight, I may decide to drop back down to a lower weight and swing instead of adding more weight.

Thanks for the advice. Both might be a good idea - adding weight some sessions to reach fatigue while keeping same weight and swinging other sessions.

I can’t find any practical ways to do BTC. Currently I hang straight down standing and doing work on my computer. Do you know of any practical BTC positions?

You can do the first set as the max weight and the next sets with less weight and do some swinging, I remember that Bib said he did some swinging while hanging.

I did BTC angle while on my gaming chair and on my bed, the first one was the better option for me. That is one of the main problems with hanging, pumping and extender, to another activity while doing them. I could do nothing, but play smartphone games while hanging, GunBound specifically. If it is in your budget, I would advise to buy a very good divã or divan (those sofas of psychologists) in english or a confortable chair with a big seat, for you to comfortably lay and put your legs up and do the BTC.

Practical? You mean that you can, also, work? Wow that would require a setup only for that.

I currently hang straight down and stand at my desk while working. Similar to an ergonomic office set up where employees stand instead of sitting. However, definitely hanging 10-15 pounds while swinging can get my legs tired quicker than if I was just standing working lol.
