Hanging - No Gains...
Hey.
I just read thru the post below regarding another member hanging for 5 months with no gains.
A few years back, I hung for 4-6 months with no gains.
I recently started hanging again - thinking perhaps I did something wrong in my previous routine (the only angles I hit were SD and BTC) so perhaps I needed to do more hanging targeting other angles (the tunica).
I’m now almost 2 months into hanging - every day, as BIB has said (I did have a 6 day break to heal an injury to my glans) up to 10 pounds SD and BTC one hour-or an hour and a half each day 5 days a week, and a half hour each day on the weekends. So on average 7 hours a week.
Nothing…
A few of the members in the post (The post I”m referring to is entitled “No gains” in this thread) had some very interesting theories regarding hanging, PE, ligaments healing, etc.
A few things i know - people are different. We heal differently, we train differently, etc…
So I don’t think hanging doesn’t work - I think it works for some…but may not work for others.
One thing that does seem to work - across the board - for most people - are ADS devices or stretchers…
Extenders are FDA approved Medical Devices for the purpose of lengthening the penis….and have studies to show they do - there a bitch to use…but the science is there…
Newer vaccum style ADS devices such as the Phallosan even have a study…
So it seems that most of the growth (if any) from PE occurs in the stretching or “micro tearing” of the Tunica/Shaft - NOT the ligaments which I think is what hanging stresses the most.
So I”m at a crossroads here…I can continue to hang - and for the first time - try different angles - OTL, OTS to hit the shaft/tunica…because I think this is the best chance you have at lengthening your penis.
I also think that hanging too much will make your penis stronger and not longer… and its difficult to know when your not getting anywhere… based on the ideology of “give it more time” and/or “more weight/more reps” you really don’t know when to stop.
I think for me personally I have to decide that for myself and that’s why I wanted to ask you guys…but I think I already know the answer. Some of you guys will say 2 months is way too short….keep going….attack different angles…etc.. some will say otherwise. Its hard deciding for myself.
I”m currently 5.75 BPEL and will literally do anything to gain length but I don’t feel that hanging is working for me.
