How often should I go up on weight for hanging?

I believe the instructions say 1 pound a week, but not if your increasing sets.

My personal plan of attack is a bit different. I want to reach fatigue during the first set. If I can’t then I will add a pound.

Yes, as I said MAX you could increase, according to Bib. I have gone weeks without increasing weight. In order to increase the weight is to have come to a personal understanding of fatigue of this max weight you as individual have.

In order to raise weight, you should be feeling no fatigue when using your actual max. If I at certain max weight don’t feel fatigue after 3 sets of 20 minutes each, then I’ll add a little more weight, test and see if it works back at fatiguing fast. I make 0,25 to 0,5 kilogram raises at a time, depending on what elements I have available for the extra weights. I never use max weight through all the sets. I only use max after initial warmup and a good 5 minutes of low weight (2kg in my case is the minimum I hang usually at the ending set), then if I don’t get fatigue I try a second set, etc until I get that precious fatigue and then go lowering weight on next sets till eventually reaching the minimum for the last set.

I tried the opposite (more like what kyrpa did) last few weeks and found that my dick went shorter bpfsl and bpel, so I’m reseting back to the bib method as the other is clearly not working for me. That doesn’t mean it doesnt work, it means it doesn’t work for me.
