Hours Hanging

ADS

When I count my daily hours I also count the ADS. I will hang heavy for 20 minutes (after 5-10 minutes of JAI) then where my ADS strap two to three hours. I count this as 3.5 hours of hanging. What do you guys think?

Sounds to me like you are doing 20 minutes of hanging and 2-3 hours of All Day Stretching- with the word stretching being the key :)

I have read in past posts that the idea is to get a good hang or a good stretch than maintain the tension so that the ligs heal stretched. Maybe one of the veterans could help me out with this. In any case we are experimenters here and I will keep you posted with any positive outcomes. Thanks guys for all of the info.

me personally, I think JT is on the right track with 4 hours a day, I think I’ll try that from now on instead of my 3 sets that got me no gains at all over the last 2 months. I was thinking of doing it at different angles as well…does anyone know if this is good idea? (since it would break up the hours into specific ligs)

Also, I recently read over at the peforums about getting your pc muscles fatigued before a workout. It supposebly could help gains. Anyone heard of this?

I hang whenever I can find 20 min., even if only one set. My ligs stay sore, and I hang more when I can. No ads yet. It seeems to me if you keep the soreness(stretch ) all day morn. noon, &p.m it is certainly better than not hanging. I haven’t really measured scientifically, But I could get 5” hard before, and can get 7” pumped now. It seems like I have more, I am going to get it to fill. LA, viagra whatever. I am going for 9”. If i have to do more, I will. I do not know,if i gained all this, more likely it is some regained and some gained. I am now at 22# and will go to 25# in 2-3 days. I think more stress, more gains, we will see.

I’ve had good gains with only 5-6 hours per week. Would do more hours if I could.

It takes two-three days of one hour per day to get a good fatigue feeling.

SO, what I would like to try is after a two day rest, hang 2-3 hours the first day, then one hour the remaining four days.

Hanging Weight/ Time

I’m doing about 2 hours /day 5 days /week of actual hanging time— in 20 to 30 min sets, with about 17 pounds, dropping back to about 13 lbs.

This is 10 hours of actual hanging / week.

Additionally do ADS hanging with all Theraband hanger, sevaral hours a day (just resumed this after a week or so off).

My manual flaccid stretches are now above 9.5inches, and fully stretched outwards with the hanger on and 17 lbs is now 9+7/8 to 9+15/16”.

Actual dick length erect still 8.75-9 inches BP, 8 inches plus a whisker nbp.

(Actually the engineering term for metal under tensile loading is “yield strength”, the stress at which permanent deformation takes place. Stress is force dvided by cross sectional are.)

So if I hang for 3-4 hours a day with no break whould my gains be huge??? Or whould my dick just fall off?

Well you can hang for a total hang time of 3 - 4 hours but you need to take 10 minute breaks every 20 minutes for circulation reasons, If you don’t keep circulation then you start getting cell death (taken to the extreme we’re talking amputation) So hang all you want but give “henry” a break after every 20 minutes of hang time.

The only difference for someone just starting out would be to use less weight.

I found I needed 10 hours a week after a while at first it seemed I could get gains with less hours but soon I needed 10 hours a week which was was 5 days a week at 2 hours. I’m going to start hanging again with the tps hanger and I will keep every one posted so far it’s the best hanger I have ever seen, I had a beta version for a while but I just got the new one today and so far I’m impressed.

I think you can get “newbie gains” when you first start hanging but then later you have to move up in weight and time later on.

Or maybe hanging 10hours a week from the start will give you good gains all along. I think I’m going to really try and reach that 10hour mark.

As long as your one chooses weight for achieving fatigue and continues to hanging in that state, I think 10hrs/week is the “sweet spot” for hanging gains.
