How do you hang?

I have been hanging for about a week now and was curious how you guys hang? It seems most of the posts I have read people are either sitting down or laying down and hanging straight out. Do any of your guys stand while hanging? Is one method better than the other?

Nah, any method is good as long gravity helps you, besides, sitting down is better because you can do a lot of things sitting down, like search in the web, do some work (or homework), watch some tv , play some ps2 (I cant finish God of War in “god mode” yet…;) )…my point is, sitting down allow multi-tasking :p

I hang while standing and it kills my legs.

I hang sitting at my computer desk with a bungee cord attached to the wall straight across from my groin( hope that cord never snaps).

So your standing and use a bungi to pull between the legs to the rear????? What I can’t get a hold of is a BIB between my thighs or resting on the cheeks of my ass. I can’t even imagine how you get into that position. How do hookup without rear view mirrors?

Standing, leaning against a wall, legs angled forward at 45 degrees (ish) while the weight hangs backwards over a thing (cant think how to describe it) which causes it to effectively be Standing BTC.

I only do that once a week though usually, I mainly do either Standing SD, or “regular” BTC lol

I understand what Slack is saying. If you hang standing up and bend forward (putting your elbows on a bed with your hands under your chin), you can feel a totally different stretch. Or, if you are standing up and bend backwards like you are going to do a bridge (the wrestling move), that is another different feeling.

Slack, send a pic or draw a pic of this btc routine your doing.

When I am hanging, I generally stand or walk around. Sometime I will sit in a chair with a large pillow under me to help keep the weights off the floor.

Hi, I am pretty new to PE. I have been stretching, jelqing and pumping. I was thinking about trying clamping, but from what I have read, it’s best to work on length first, and clamping is more of a girth exercise. So as a newbie to hanging, I have looked through a lot of these posts and my question is simple. What kind of hanger should I make? The Captains Wrench seems like a popular choice. I have made different cylinders for pumping, so I was thinking maybe a vacuum hanger. Any thoughts? Thanks.
