How to Fix twisted shaft while hanging
Since re-starting my hanging efforts about 8 weeks ago I have been paying more attention to the details. One of the things that always bothered me was the tendency of my shaft to twist apx 90 degrees, usually clockwise seen from above. I always thought this was due to a poor wrap or hanger attachment. Well, I have learned that by twisting my shaft to just past back straight and then holding my weights for a couple of minutes that my hang will then be staight.
I theorize that the tissues relax at different speeds allowing the twisting and then it stays twisted.
In fact, I can start with a clockwise twist and by over-rotating and holding as above create a counter-clockwise twist with no other adjustments.
Hope this helps.
