I hung hanged for the first time today.

Ok a-unit, I hear you. But what is “magic” about ten hours? Is this weekly? Maybe a dumb question but it is possible a guy could PE ten hours a day.

Eighty minutes of hang time so far today, and still have more to go. I tried something a bit different, I had some work to do at the bench so I warmed with a hot wet cloth, did some manual stretches and then hung 5 lbs for 20 minutes while working (two times). During the hang, I would put an extra stretch manually (2 - 3 times) and continue the hang. A good stretch with the weight to hold it in place for 20 minutes. Sort of like the ADS theory to keep the dick stretched out in that position longer.

The ten hours per week comes from reading old hanging threads here about when people begin gaining.

There is also the issue of onset fatigue due to long hanging sessions and backing off the weight as you get too sore to continue.

The veterans believe this is the point where plastic deformation begins, and I have begun to experience this in my last set of the day and then back off the weight and bash on.

Ah, I see. Will give that a go when I’m ready.

I wish I had tome to do more because it makes sense that tissues fatigue over time.

Organic and organic materials only maintain shape for so long before deforming, and I’ve experienced that sensation when my dick says “ok, enough” and instead of stopping entirely I drop the weight and the sensation goes away and I can continue.

This feeling has only happened since I began the back to back sets and only during the afternoon session as yet, though I haven’t tried to hurry the process by putting more weight on during the morning session.

I have read that getting heavier sooner will fatigue faster, which makes sense, but I’m already having EQ issues, so I’m approaching with caution.

Definitely experiencing fatigue now as I’m half into my afternoon set.

I will have to drop the weight in the next few minutes, as it becomes like little knives digging into the shaft.

I can also feel a strong pulse through the shaft around where the clamp attaches.

I did two full hours of hanging yesterday and this morning EQ was significantly down. I don’t feel any soreness so I’m getting in an hour total today.

Snow day here and no PE for me.

I don’t necessarily notice soreness after sets, just toward the end of the sets where I have to lower the weight.

Do what you can with time first before increasing the weight.

I haven’t increased the weight yet. Still using 8 lbs for BTC and SD, and 5 for fulcrum hangs.

I am just doing the broom handle fulcrums for the back to back sets for the next few weeks to target the shaft more, as I found that the wider diameter pipe hit the ligaments more.

I was up to 35 lbs in October, getting in about three sets per day. My gains stopped even while hanging so much weight. I took a break for about two months and started back up determined to get in more sets and progress in weight slower using hit. Basically I decided to follow Bibs advice and get in as many sets as I could. I have been averaging 9 to 10 hours a week and have noticed a few benefits from this.

First off I believe the heavy weights started to become a pain in the ass for a few reasons. I was pushing harder for weight when gains slowed up, this lead to me beginning to see all of this as a chore. When its a chore it is not fun. I have since used less weight but more time and since it feels better it is more enjoyable. Now that it s ore enjoyable I am sticking with it much better and this is seeming to pay off. I was so worried about weight that the fundamentals were lost in obscurities that I had created.

I have gained an 8th of an inch since I resumed and I believe I have gained more than that, just need to measure it. I found that reaching fatigue is much easier with much less weight and I know now why 10 hours is the magic number. If it seems like too much time find a way to do things. I get up early to hang but since my kids are asleep I can do it in the laundry room and stand there and fold towels or pants (easy things) and sometimes I will do the dishes. It may be at a slower rate that I do these things but doing something makes the time not seem like such a waste.

I got two good sessions in today first the fulcrum for 20 min. then BTC for 20 min. I edged it up good and hard tonight, and good news! I measured and saw a full BPEL of 6.5” EG is 5.25. The hanging is definitely working, this is so cool.

I started at 6 x 5.5, I pumped and manually stretched my way to 6 3/4 x 6. Hanging took me to 7 3/8ths BPEL thus far and I have maintained the 6 inches of girth. All in all I have been consistently doing PE for 2 years on march 1st of this year (23 months straight). Over all I have gained 1.375 x .5 but I am not finished yet.
