I mean I have this 45 lb plate in my room and I’m sweating bullets just thinking about that thing hanging from my dick. I’m going to try the progressive approach with hanging, systematic, with many sets at lower weight. I have read somewhere that some people should also try, after a rest period, to shock the penis with a somewhat higher weight than they’re used to just to deform it a bit more, then go back to that previous “normal” weight and continue hanging a few sets like normal.

Have any of you tried that similar approach?

I apologize a-unit, not trying to hi-jack your thread here, just trying to throw some ideas out there and see what works best.

No worries, this thread is about learning about hanging and sharing what works and what doesn’t.

I appreciate the contribution.

I think occasionally a shock to the unit might do some good, as long as you have a set plan to back off before strengthening sets in.

As someone who has some experience power lifting, I know how strong ligaments can be, and I certainly don’t want to thicken up ligaments and make it impossible to stretch them until they deform.

I did not realize this was your log a-unit, my bad. I will start a new thread.

Jsagao, I don’t think I went up to fast for the method I was using at the time. I was doing a progressive hanging approach. What I do think is that even though I was using a heavy weight it was not equal to the effects I would have had with more time under tension. I am more inclined to believe that 2 hours of time at 10 pounds has more of an effect at 1 hour of time at 20 pounds if that makes sense. I was able to progress up in weight and it was done progressively over more than a years time.

I just think that fatigue should be ridden for longer or more sets than I was doing at the time so to say that I was getting stronger is not really the case, I wasn’t doing enough time wise to make my ligs weaker and to make them weaker or to give more with each subsequent set is the goal.

I am now back up to 16 lbs as of today and even though the weight is less the time per session is doubled. I feel better and I feel as if its paying off just be what I see in the mirror. Measuring soon so I will know for sure.

That’s the way I approach PE. As limited as I’m for time I realise that longer periods with less weight is the way to deform and elongate as opposed to strengthen.

And don’t wort about posting here, we need to feel encouraged while grinding out the millimeters.

I see. Thank you. I’ll be sure to go slow and steady now and try not to rush into increasing heavy weights too quickly and using multiple angles before I move up and increasing sets. In addition though, I do find that I have much better elongation when using the fulcrum compared to hanging from the other angles.Veins are also more prominent and harder EQ coming back from rest days. It’s been stated before but I guess the wheel is still turning. I’ll let you guys know in a few days when I measure again. Cheers as well a-unit.

Finally back to hanging after to many days off with people in the house during the day!

First morning double set under way and everything feels fine.

Thanks for all the comments and questions. It makes the journey less lonely knowing others are trying to figure this out as well.

Having some slippage early on, as the wrap sometimes gets slippery if it gets hot from the air gun.

I try to avoid heating the wrap area directly, but I need to heat the tissues in the shaft also, so it becomes a delicate balance sometimes, especially before I get the hanger adjustment right.

You too? I have company for a few days and absolutely no privacy. Hanging is nigh impossible right now.

Yep. Very frustrating.

I guess the occasional rest won’t hurt though.

I’m going to attempt a third double set today, but will be cutting it fine time-wise with the wife due at around 5.30pm or so.

It Will be interesting to see how ten hours of hang time will effect my dick if I can keep it up.

I’m on my fourth double set this afternoon, and the fatigue is intense.

I didn’t think I would have he time but I did two double sets in a row at lunch and now I have room to do another.

I will probably have to lower the weight some more before this set is over.

I lowered the weight and continued, but after a short break I was able to go back to ten pounds after re-wrapping.

That is 160 minutes of hanging today, or two and two thirds hours.

If I do that five times this week, that equals eight hundred minutes, or thirteen hours and twenty minutes.

Maybe I don’t need to do that much, three double sets per day will give me the ten hours I’m looking for in a week.

Damn, I got 120 minutes (6X20) the last two days and I was impressed with me until I read this. I am guessing that you are meaning 2 x 20 for a double set? I am going for at least ten hours a week myself. In a perfect selfish world I would get 2 hours a day seven days a week but life sure makes that tough.

I went a little mad today and did four double sets.

Three will be sufficient to get the ten hours in in a week, and I think it might actually be doable within my schedule.
