I can grow my girth relatively easy, and put on 1/4 in probably about 6 weeks of clamping. So right now its at 5.75, I still want more girth, but also want more length. Length takes longer for me to grow, and im assuming it will only get worse with more girth? So should I stick to just hanging for now to get length where I want it? Or do I do both at the same time? Like hanging in the morning and clamping later on in the day. My other concern is that if i drop clamping all together, will I lose what I gained in girth? So at the least should i do a maintenance of clamping or jelqing?

I wonder the same, but it’s hard to answer. Some say that thicker units are harder to stretch, but isn’t it harder to add girth to a thinner unit? I will do the reversed workout. I’ll get the girth I want first, then hang until I reach my length goal. They say you don’t loose girth when hanging, so I will go for that strategy.

no loss while hanging huh? So I guess that would sorta be my maintenance to keep my girth gains, if true. Still contemplating what to do. At any rate, I think it will be 6 months or so of hanging for me to see any substantial length gains. On the other hand, I could probably gain more in girth if I wanted in less time. Gah lol! I dont know, in the end I want both so I guess will keep hanging for now, not sure what I will do if anything for a girth routine yet.

Yup, thats what I am doing. Both. I will measure in about 3 months for my 6 months. The way it is going now, I believe I am growing in both directions. I do think I am getting more girth than length though. I just started hanging so hopefuly this will spark some length.

Personally I believe that extra girth - especially girth acquired through clamping - will slow length-gains. I’m personally not doing any more girth work until I’m nearing my length goal.

Clamping will give you girth all the way along the shaft whether your 6” or 10”, so the amount clamping you have to do to get the girth you want, wont change whether you’ve got a 5” dick or a 9” dick…

…so you may as well clamp after you’ve got your length-gains.

One way it makes no difference (i.e. hanging before clamping) but the other way you risk screwing up your length-gains (i.e. clamping before hanging).

We know that extra length won’t stop you getting the girth you want, but there seems to be evidence that extra girth may stop you getting the length you want.

Also— it’s good for motivation to measure frequently. I measure four times a month.

My 2c’s

I forgot to add— the more intense of all of the girth exercises carry a high risk of injury (e.g. thrombosis) so I’d say they were best left ‘till later on. One thing I’ve always been worried about where girth-work is concerned is getting an injury that I’d have to nurse for six months to a year before I could continue with any PE.

As you can probably see I definitely think length-work should precede girth-work.

I agree with Fantastic on this one. Also length gains from hanging have been known to increase girth at the base.

It may be a good idea to do a clamp session occasionally to help shock the tunica. Just a thought, anyway.

I gained 4.5 cm in length (Feb 2005- Feb 2006) and 3cm in girth (Feb 2005 - Oct 2005). I am now 20.5x17cm. From my personal experience I think it could be done in a year but it would be easier when you are a quick gainer.

Well heres a little update: Been hanging for a month now, with clamping maybe 3 times within that period. Basically if I had extra time to do so, I would clamp, but only for one or 2 10 minutes sessions. Anyway, my previous girth gains from clamping have been lost in this time period. I lost almost a 1/4 inch in girth. I may have gained very slightly in length, although I did not expect much this soon anyhow. It does suck losing what I had gained, but Im sure I can get to and most likely exceed this again, and hopefully gain back that 1/4 even faster next time. Im not gonna lie, I dont like getting “skinnier” but I mostly have time for one or the other right now, so I think it makes sense to go for the hanging for now. With the time issue and the more probable fear of an injury from clamping, its probably the best thing to do. Thanks for all the input!

If I were you, I would continue whatever I do if I am gaining. I think you shouldn’t mind about “If I don’t gain length”, just continue gaining your precious girths.
