How many pounds is a manual stretch equivalent to? I ask because I see that most seasoned hangers aren’t going over 15lbs, but I am sure that when you do the newbie stretch routine, you are providing more than 15lbs of tension.


Current: 5.5" NBPEL (6" BP) x 5" EG

Goal: 6.5" NBPEL x 5.5" EG

That’s a damn good question. Maybe if someone had a fish scale to pull down on they could make some good guesses.

I have a fish scale [and I don’t fish] that tops out at 25# and the scale zeroes out when I stretch hard.

I believe that my stretch force is in excess of 40-50#- that’s what it feels like in my arms, and sometimes even more.

I don’t understand, how are you inserting a fish scale into a manual stretch? By manual don’t we mean hand to penis?

Naah, I ‘mime’ the stretch with the fish scale instead of my junk to get an approximation of the applied force.

I have an idea on how you might measure your manual stretch force more accurately using your fish scale.
What if you hooked one end of the fish scale to a door knob (or something fixed about that high) then hooked the other end to your grip hand. Then grip and lean away without using your arm to add to the stretching force measured on the scale. I would be real interested to know what you come up with. I have a small fish scale and intend to try this myself. I have always wondered how much force I can comfortable exert manually. I think that our own grip creates a level of comfort that a hanger cannot reproduce. I think manual stretching can add to the stretch force we can handle however our grip cannot maintain this for a reasonable amount of time.
