kabar,
You should NEVER experience bleeding while hanging - this is not the object of the exersize! Read and understand what Bigger and Hugeness have said.
Now, take a week off to get yourself healed. This is essential - no arguments! What’s a week anyway? If you’re going to make a success of this then you’re going to have to commit time over many, many weeks - there are no shortcuts, but as you’ve discovered, if you push it too fast or too far you will encounter set backs. In the big picture one week is neither here nor there.
What appears to have happened is that you have a burst blood vessel which has leaked into the urethra. As Bigger said, this probably occurred because there was too much blood in the glans. What happens is that when you add more weight, or if the hanger slides down, the pressure on the glans increases and if there is too much blood trapped sometimes something “gives”. Bruising on the glans is another sign that your technique needs work.
Like bodybuilding, technique is all important - I can’t stress that enough. When you start hanging always use low weights. Learn how to wrap properly and how to attach the hanger correctly. If you neglect these basic steps chances are you’ll injure yourself and get discouraged then you’ll never achieve your goals. When, and only when, you have mastered these basics gradually move up in weight over weeks and months - don’t be in a hurry - fully exploit the weights you are hanging before moving up. And above all, listen to your body. If it doesn’t feel right, reevaluate. Read and ask questions.
After you have healed, try limiting the amount of blood in the glans by the method Bigger suggested. The way I get around it is to use an underwrap of cotton fabric, sweat shirt or teeshirt material beneath the Theraband. Once it’s all securely in place, put on the hanger. Grasp the head of the penis, squeeze the blood out and stretch the penis outwards. Tighten the hanger. The hanger can be quite tight but it should not cause pain. Test it by pulling it to make sure it’s secure and comfortable. If it’s not, redo it. Experiment until you find the way that’s most comfortable for you. Remember, you’re dealing with a very precious part of your body here - treat him well and he’ll do you proud.
As Bigger said, stretching the skin is an important and integral part of making gains - you can’t have one without the other. Hey, my skin is still stretching and I’m still making gains.
Rest up, then polish your technique and make great gains! :)
