I know everyone is different, but I am curious to know at what weight did you start seeing noticeable results?

My personally, I started seeing gains when I started hanging 13 to 15 pounds.

So, please chime in!

I saw gains at 5 lbs. My tunica got stubborn by 12lbs. Now I am sitting around 16 or so but have been getting bruising so my hanging has been on/off.

I start usually at 7.5 to 10 lbs. then move up to, and sometimes less than 17.5 lbs. I then work my way back down to never less than 7.5 to 5 lbs. This is done over a 2 hr. session. Either,8x15 min or 6x20 sets. I mix it up all the time, sometimes 2 on 1 off or 3 on 2 off. Other weeks I’ll go 5 on 2 off. I try not to get into a rut. Sometimes I’ll do 4x15 or 3x20 in the am, then wear a traction wrap for 10 hr. Then when I get home from work, I bang out another 1 hr. in the hanger. More wood in the morning, as well as the wienie just feels healthier. Erections are harder than pre PE. I don’t measure regular at all. I think measuring, is like watching boiling water-it just does’nt add up. I get a better feeling of accomplishment, by just wrapping my hand around my pal. Flaccid is also much better now. ho-hum

I read the failure post’s as well as the gainer post’s. I take hope from the gainers, and reassure myself that I AM capable of gains from the failure posts.

I agree, constantly measuring is like watching water boil - I have that problem. I always want to measure after my hanging sets. Though, I feel as long as my FSBPL is gaining, that is fine by me.

I have finally gotten back up to the range of 13-15 pounds, so I am eager to see if I start making some gains in the near future.

I worked my way up to 10lbs and I am now at 6.75lbs and gaining faster than ever.

Well I am using the Wench along with a cable clamp and for a while trying to prevent shifting of the hanger I did an extra click on the clamp (bringing it up to 4), and I caused some nice black painful bruising for a while but now is starting to fade and not painful. I am using Arnica and that helps a little. Of course during this time I couldn’t hang so I finally had the bright idea to move the hanger down below the bruising. FYI- there was no penile damage or I wouldn’t be hanging at all.

In the meantime however, it looks like someone decided to decorate my unit with a sharpie in a nice () on either side and below near the circ scar. Dino and I are going to be having a bruise race to see who can get rid of their black beauty first. :D

Bruising happens sometimes as long as it doesn’t hurt and is going away I don’t worry about it. Ramrod would completely disagree but as long as you figure out the problem then hang away.

I started getting gains at around 7 pounds and am now up to the 12 to 15 area but I only hang once every three days or so. What I do in between is use modified golf weights all day 10 to 15 hours a day, that keeps me gaining. Otherwise I’m convinced that I would plateau. The light weights keep the ligs straight and stretched.

I’m not sure how much I gained from which weight because I was doing other things when I first toyed with hanging. Guessing, I’d say 6.6 lbs. produced some results because I remember feeling a strong lig stretch from it.

Noticed better flaccid state after moving past 12 lbs.

Warmup/set start wgt = 12lbs.

I try to get in at least one set at 27lbs - the fatigue reached after 15 to 20 mins at 27lbs is (for me) unmistakeable. Sets after that are 22lbs, sometimes less. Wrapping is a bitch. If I get the wrap right, I can hang heavy with no discomfort at all.

Max hung 30.5lbs for 1 set.

I started gaining from first week of hanging, 1.75kg (stretching skin and blood vessels): very quick, low effort gaining.
Last two months I’ve dropped weights from 6kg to 4.5 due to shaft fatigue; it turnes out I was trying to cut the corners which is not the way to go. So, no gains during this two month period, except solidifying the really nice 1.5cm of initial gains.
I’m planning to hang 6kg again soon, as my shaft is now conditioned for it; I feel that more gains aren’t many corners away.
I would say that I “think” more gains are about to come my way, but it’s really more about acquiring a good and reliable feeling for what I’m doing: The real thing to learn for me has been the optimal interval of weight increase. My current strategy is to add 0.5kg when I’ve been hanging my max for at least 4x20min consecutively and without head numbness or shaft fatigue. So far, this means on average +0.5kg every three weeks (with roughly 10 hours of hanging/week).

Starting: 5 BPEL x 4.5 EG on 4/19/03

Latest: 6 BPEL x 5 EG on 2/17/04

During my PE Career (little over a year now) I’ve gained 1 1/4” in EL and .5” in EG. I think that’s pretty good.

I got 1/8” in length from hanging using a bib hanger and bib starter. I was running between 7.5lbs and 12lbs and then the gains stopped.
I increased weights to 12.5 to 15 lbs for 3 months and no gains at all.
I just finished taking a month off of PE to see if I could decondition my dick.

I’m thinking that my ligs need a real workout so I’ve been hanging 1 hour a day starting with 15lbs, then 20lbs and finishing with 22.5lbs. All 20 minute sets.

What do you think of this approach using heaver weights? I’m thinking this might be the only way to break past my plateau of 5 months. I’m thinking I probably need to hang as heavy as I can stand to overcome my ligs of steel.

You might try shaking up your routine-by changing angles. Just a thought, as I’ve had some trouble with reaching fatigue. When I mess around with different angles, I can feel the difference between lig and tunica pull. I go up in weight, until I get to limp dick stage at the end of my set-then I immediately start dropping weight.
