Results of the Hanging Poll

Many people viewed this poll but only 22 actually voted. This is obviously not a large enough sample to make any accurate predictions but I won’t let that stop me…

I’m no scientist ;^) but it looks like the most popular method of hanging was to increase the weight incrementally every 8 days or more. The only “drawback” was that it didn’t work for everyone, with one dissenting non-gainer.

The second most popular method was a more random application of weights and durations. Everyone that used this method saw a gain.

The third most popular method was to increase the weight incrementally every 7 days or less. Everyone that used this method saw gains as well.

The last one, using high weights as a “shock” system after a conditioning period of low weights, I thought would be more popular, (especially among newbies). Once again, the two people that used this system saw gains.

I can only assume that most people didn’t vote on this poll as they weren’t able to say conclusively whether they have gained from hanging or from the other 147 PE techniques that they do on a regular basis.

I will begin my next hanging “phase” by following the most popular method.
