Skin question

Skin question

Bigger,

With my hanging last week and this week I have had great sessions and success with wrapping and hanger placement and all hanging was done in SO pos.

One of the differences to wrapping now for me is that I actually am starting my wrap about 3mm further back from my circumcision scare.

Now previously to this I would start the wrap for the first two wraps (which are loser than the spiral wraps) right on the circumcision scare.

What I have noticed now is that when the tension is applied and the hanger moves forward and does the bunching behind the glands thing, I actually now have a small amount of skin ride over the ridge of the glands.

Now this is interesting to note for me because you say that neither the hanger or the wrap should come into contact with the glands. My understanding of this is you are meaning the ridge of the glands cause this would cause irritation and may lead to sensitivity issues done the track.

So Bigger, does this little skin rolling sound constintent with what you have tried to explain previously to me and others.

It seems to allow the hanger to anchor in behind my glands nicely.

I will be posting pictures of this skin roll over the ridge of the glands soon but I hope I have made myself clear why this question.

Also last night got up to 6 sets of 10 mins each in row and only stopped because of slit skin soreness near hanger attachment point as apposed to head/gland numbess or soreness.

I am getting better at this.

GMJ,

I am glad you said that. A mm here or there in wrap position, tightness, hanger adjustment, etc, really can make all the difference.

No, the hanger should not slide down to the head or coronal ridge. The wrap might or might not depending on where the wrap is started. I almost always had the wrap ride to the head.

Yes.

What is this “slit skin soreness”? That does not sound good. How did it come about?

>I am getting better at this.<

It surely appears so.

Bigger,

I meant my hanger is not sliding to the head but moving forward towards the head bunching internal stuctures foward to the point that the skin just lips over the ridge and the wrap is a mm or two back from the the skin that is now rolled onto the ridge.

I think that’s a better way for me to explain it. Did I make sense?

>So Bigger, does this little skin rolling sound constintent with what you have tried to explain previously to me and others.<

Yes.

Not trying to be difficult here Bigger but I take it that skin rolling slightly over the glands is a good thing?

Sorry I never can explain myself right. “Slit skin soreness” was supposed to read as “slight skin soreness”. It come about because my best wrapping solution is a bandage that is alittle abrasive to feel particularly as it gets used more often. I will be going to another wrap material shortly that is softer but doesn’t have the ruggedness of my bandage (if thats a good way to explain it). I just wish to be sure that the skin riding over the ridge is a good thing first before I alter another varible (i.e my wrap material).

I apoligise if you are banging your head against the screen while reading this post.
