No, I would hit the BTC angles until total fatigue, when you simply can’t handle BTC anymore. Then, I would switch to SO for a while until you can handle BTC again.

Is this from blood inflow or fluid? Either way, you probably have the wrap a little too tight. When you attach the hanger, it will make the wrap a little tighter, so you need to allow for this when wrapping. Also, sometimes this happens when you are using low weights. As the weight increases, the swelling of the head gets less and less.
As far as the soreness behind the balls: If your LOT is 9:00, then your ligs are taking the stress at the 6:00 angle, and the inner tunica should not be taking any stress. I do not know why you should have any soreness behind the balls, unless maybe the balls themselves are being affected at that angle.
