I seem to be gaining again. I hadn’t hung for a year or so and started up again this winter.

Sweet! I’m surprised to hear you’re gaining from lower weights though. How long are you hanging per day?

Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

Hmm, I don’t consider 10lbs a low weight, at least it doesn’t feel like it:-) I believe 5 is consider the standard. How much weight do you use?

I’m hanging a total of about 90 min. a day, split morning/night.

This time around I started using a Bib, which I find much more strenuous than my previous Vac. I like that I can position it in different places along the length. Hanging near the base seems quite effective.

Have you ever used the wench?

I’ve hit as high as 20 so far. I hover between 12.5 -17.5 pounds. The key is reaching and then riding fatigue. So if you have hit fatigue and you ride it at 10 - rock on! I just wasn’t sure how long you’ve been hanging. My original gains came at 13 pounds when I used to use a milk jug and a half.

carrbc,

As far as rest days are concerned, feel free to take one if you can’t get your hanging in. Taking a rest day will at MOST contribute to loss of conditioning. And since you use a wench, I’m not sure what kind of soft tissue conditioning your unit actually goes through. I’m speaking as a Bib user, and even now I am learning that NO rest simply means easier deformation of tissue because every day hanging keeps the collagenous tissues in a weakened state.

But in addition to my last post, I WOULD at least do manual stretches a few times during the day if you’re going to take rest days to pull out the adhesions.

Thanks for the advice, Mr. Schlong. I think I’m going to take advantage of rest days, but follow your advice of doing at least a little bit of manual stretching.

If you hang every day, you are keeping those ligs in a weakened state as well as pulling out the adhesions from yesterday, thereby creating more deformation.

When you swing with a higher weight what you do is having a blunt trauma on your penis. Myself,I lower the weight gradually when I put the hanger on, as I focus on the elongation of the penis not on the contraction which a blunt trauma as I said can’t avoid.I do this in an analogous way as to how Firegoat described his manual stretching technique. I want my penis to feel pliable not hardened, even if I can’t avoid this completely with hanging, I try to minimize it. But if what you do, works well then that’s very good. :)

How, is this saying when you start you gently lower the weight towards the ground as opposed to just letting it drop, or does this mean you actually reduce the amount of weight you hang with during your sessions?

I don’t know of anyone who just lets their weights drop when they start. That is a good way to do permanent damage to your unit. After I attach my weights to the hanger, it is always slowly lowered in order to not do damage. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you wrote.

I thought the title of the thread was Swimming while hanging, which is also a very good routine, but like all things you do to your dick, it will eventually make you go blind.

Guess I better look for my glasses.
