Vacuum Hanging without The Vacuum

So general question, don’t ask me how, but I didn’t apply vacuum to the chamber, but the weights were so light, there was no slippage. Does that matter? In effect, it would be the equivalent to compression hanging, no?

From a hanging perspective I dont think it matters. The silicon sleeve against the shaft must provide enough grip to hold the small weights.

There won’t be compression or lack of blood flow that compression hanging brings so won’t be like that.

That’s what I was thinking. I was also thinking, that if there is no slippage, I also would not need to tape as long as there was no vacuum.

Any thoughts on that aspect?

I’m hanging as well with a vacuum (minimal weight at this point, just over 3 lbs) and do not apply additional vacuum to secure the cup since it naturally applies after rolling back the sleeve. There is also not much additional airspace in my cup since it fits pretty well. My experience is that you will need to tape the head once the weight goes up regardless since the pressure is increasing in the cup.

You can also try a silicone glans cap or make one out of hellcup silicone sleeves from amazon. It will let you get away with a little more before taping. There are different methods to taping as well. I’m using a cross (+) over the urethra under a glans cap and it’s fine up to 3.5 lbs. Better sleeves (thick blue Total Man), sleeve length, and a good fitting cup make a difference as well.

A lot of people go through this. I didn’t want to tape but could see pretty quickly that blisters were going to develop and changed my approach. It wouldn’t surprise me if I have to tape more once the load goes up. Best of luck. Just watch your glans and see how it looks after each session. If you are incrementally increasing load (4-8 oz), it should be easy to observe when you are getting to the point where it becomes necessary.

I also experienced this and whilst I saw no negative effects I did have a few thoughts.

By using tape and a solid vacuum you are removing, or at least reducing, variables from the exercise. Just relying on the friction of the sleeve could sometimes lead to more pulling on the skin rather than the whole of the penis etc. Having the tape and vacuum effectively ensures that you have the same repeatable setup day after day which reduces the variables in your routine to mass, time, and temperature - which are all things you have a good degree of control over.

I didn’t think of it in those terms, and I agree from a reproducibility perspective. Well said.

I barely use any vacuum pressure in the totalman vacuum cup and I can hang 5LB no problem. The silicone sleeve just happens to be the prefect fit for my dick. I stopped doing such an aggressive tape job on my glans and now I use some non adhesive sports tape stuff though I probably don’t even need that. The vacuum pressure is so light, my glans are completely fine after an hour. The silicone sleeve probably holds like 80% of the weight for me and the vacuum cup holds the last 20%. I’ve had so many setbacks and failures on and off with PE over the years. So I’m pretty happy I’ve finally found something that just works super easily and consistently. Now if I can just figure out how to pump over 2 Hg without immediately destroying my penis, I’ll be in business, lol.

I hang straight down for 1 hour with 2.5 - 5LB incrementally. Never tried any other position.

I’m vacuum hanging again, at 3-5 pounds right now … I am using the tender tape though with the TM set up. That is easy on and off using the LGHanger method.

When I go to the extender or ADS, I do tape with Micropore, TPE, and a hoodie. I’m still trying to get this to work though. I can’t fit my head into the largest TM cup.

The only purpose of the vacuum is to remove air from the chamber. This might involve swelling the glans as well.

Then, when you apply tension to the chamber, there’s no empty space for a blister to form into.

It doesn’t work 100%, but it helps reduce the chances and severity of a blister.

I agree with AndyJ; however, I used a vacuum cap on my extender and my ADS without blisters, but my glands became insensitive after several years of usage. I now only pump for a few minutes and then apply a constriction band (a 1/2 rubber band) around my unit to keep the engorgement for several hours.

How long do you keep the rubber band on ? For compression hanging it is recommended around 15 min to prevent cell death so I wonder how you keep your unit engorged for several hours.

He indicates that he uses the band after compression hanging. That’s how it remains engorged. But I’m curious one says “engorged” does that mean rock hard for several hours? Or is it just “heavy.”

are these vacuum hangers a waste?

I bought a Chinese one off eBay that a friend recommended. Within a couple weeks both sleeves had small holes in them. Maybe from weight falling, as at times it did hold.

When I pump the suction cap to my leg or hand it sticks. I think yts because it’s a flat surface. When put it over glans , it doesn’t stick . With I put the compression sleeve it has held 13 lbs. Makes me think the sleeve is holding this weight.

Has anyone gained from vacuum hanger only? How much weight? How many cm and in what time
