Spot on. The only other variables are how recently you’ve had a doughnut and whether you’ve had a break from pumping.
If you had a doughnut yesterday, you’re more likely to easily get one today. And if you’ve had a couple of weeks off from pumping, generally the first session or two back you need to be more careful with the time and vacuum level or you are more likely to get a doughnut or red spots more easily.
A regular, controlled routine is the best option, although occasionally it’s ok to push it, risk a doughnut, then take three or four days off, as long as you’re a fairly experienced pumper and are not worried by it.
