Bathmate Sizing Help

Hello,

I tried to post this to the pump forum, but couldn’t. I’ve seen several posts on this, but haven’t found any active threads that applied to my circumstances.

I want to buy a Bathmate, but I don’t know what size to get, because I don’t know if the maximum sizes on the website are starting sizes, or inside the tube/post pump sizes. Ideally, I’d like to go with the cheaper Hercules, but it says the maximum length is 7.1. I’m a hair over 7 starting out (non-bonepressed), so that could be problem, depending on what the max means.

I’m really doing this for girth - I’m a little under 5 inches, and it feels like my girth doesn’t match my length. I’m not worried about “outgrowing” lengthwise, because I’m not really focusing on that.

If any Bathmate vets could weigh in, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

After some time using the pump your penis will exceed its erect length in the pump due to the vacuum. Be as it may that pumps hardly give any length you might find yourself hitting the cap on the smallest Bathmate after some use, making using it next to impossible. I would recommend the X40 size for you.

I’m not as long as you, but I don’t think that length is as limiting as girth in the Hercules size. IMHO, I think manual exercises are better for girth. I only use the Bathmate because I literally don’t have time/privacy for anything else and figure it can’t really hurt.

Specifications (allowing for penis size gains) when fully compressed:
Maximum penis diameter 1.81 inches
Maximum penis length 7.08 inches,

So I guess that means maximum starting length. The last marking on the tube is 200 mm, which is about 8 inches, and that isn’t even at the top. It looks like I would have about an inch and a half of leeway in the tube.

Dude151, do you really think I would out-grow it? Seems like I’ve got some room (but again, I have no experience with this device). JD10021, why do you say length isn’t as limiting as girth? Does pumping not really stretch the penis past it’s normal length?

I find pumping only stretches marginally (better if you kegel while milking the tube). My length only fluctuates less than 1 cm. If I have enough time, my girth can pack the tube which is a larger change than length.

You won’t gain that much length, my estimates is that the Bathmate gains are 95% girth 5% length.

However, you will be stretched out more than your normal erection due to the vacuum. My normal BPEL measurement last time was 7.953 Inches or 20.2 Cm, but the maximum length I’ve reached in the tube under vacuum is over 22 Cm (8.661 Inches) maybe even 22.5 Cm (8.858 Inches).

I’m at 7.3 BPEL and have a Hercules. When I’m at the most pressure in the pump there is still about an inch of space remaining. The pump itself has about 9 in of space in it.

I would ask the same question - I have the bathmate hydro x30. Girth is my main goal at the point - I am approx 7 nbp length and between 5 & 5.5 thickness

I have sucked a testical into the tube ! Horrible feeing !!- I get the impression that he Hercules is slightly smaller - therefore easer to incase the pressure & no testical malfunction !

Have any one tried both ?

I have a Hercules only. When you put your penis in, make sure the bottom of your penis is touching the side of the Bathmate. If you “center” yourself, there is a greater chance if sucking up a testicle. If your milking the tube or doing other exercises, then you just need to be careful.

I have purchased the bathmate x40, and have had the “testicle sucking” experience mentioned, especially during a warm bath. I have decided that I need to get the Hercules, or x30 and work up to the x40. Wish me luck on this endeavor.

This makes a lot of sense. What does not make sense to me is that I am unsure of where to begin with the choice of models. The Bath mate is a potentially large financial investment, so I want to get it right. I am currently 8” x 6” with an upward curve. I have used a pump before and owing to the curve (if I slide on a cock ring as far as it will go above my balls, I measure 9.5” on the underside, thus making the dorsal side of my glans push against the top of the pump tube, sometimes causing bruising). I am aiming for 9” on the dorsal measurement of my cock, with a 6.5” girth. So which of the Bath mate models would anyone recommend that I select in order to reach my gains and not experience bruising or too much extra space at the base, causing testicles to be sucked into the tube?

Thanks for any help and I hope I have made my case clear. This is my first post, btw and I have been doing PE on and off for some years with no real commitment. I have experienced about 1/4” length gain and 0.5” girth gain.

You should contact Bathmate and ask them. Your size may fit the x40 but your curve concern seems to put you into the Goliath. If that’s the case, you’ll just need to be careful with the testicles.

FWIW, the common wisdom on this board would be to recommend a regular pump and tube over the Bathmate. I use mine because ~15 minutes of privacy in a morning shower is my only chance to do any PE.

I went with the bathmate goliath I am over 7” as you are. But my girth is close to 6” naturally.

So far I’m made the right choice. As I see slight gains and growth. The Hercules would of been useless after a few months.
