So i recently have been upping my pumping time gradually and am up to about 30-35 mins mostly at 5hg. I typically start at 4 for about 5mins then will do 20 mins at 5hg then the rest of the time(5 to 10 mins) between 5.5 and 6hg.

I also do probably 5 or 6 what i call power stretches which is where i pump up to 10hg fmto get max stretch then hold for 10 seconds then release down to 5hg. I get good expansion both ways however the outer rim of my head packs the tube pretty quickly after i start and ive noticed the last two times when i get it out of the tube at the end of the session the areas that pack the tube on my head are bluish. Head feels fine but that worries me that maybe im going too long in the tube. Should i take a break in between? I am trying to get to the point where i can stay really long in the tube so maybe every 10 mins or so i need to drop the pressure for 15-20 seconds to let fresh blood in?

It took me a loooooong time to be able to go 6hg for longer than 15 mins. recently I’ve been doing 8hg for 15 mins, get hard and clamp for 5 and get back in. I also drink an obscene amount of water to make my package nice and juicy, but I find it helps with discoloration. I’ve been doing a lot of marathon pumping sessions and recently stayed up all night and pumped for 5-6 hours on and off. I actually do those sets without a gauge and go entirely by feel; I use a mason jar for my full package and suck the air out with a tube. I drink water / beer constantly while I’m marathoning and do kegels for as long as I can before I have to fill the tube. Right before I burst, I get the pressure up to about 10hg and hold it for about a minute before I flood the jar and lower the pressure. The jar is big enough that I can flood it about 3 times before I gotta dump it, but I try not to fill it within the hour. I then dump it, edge for 15-30 mins and get back in. I increased each session by 15 mins by pumping at 2-5hg and essentially dropping to 0 and pumping back up to 10hg when I flood the tube. After my 1:30 set I was feeling cocky and went for 2. I held my bladder for the first hour which makes me really hard, so for the second hour I stood up and swung the jar around while I paced around the house. When I got out my sack was as big as my fist and I couldn’t stop dripping precum.

Rambling aside, to prevent bruising I do a couple of things. I milk the tube by lowering the pressure and kegeling in new blood while I rather violently shake the jar to try and tap the head of my shaft against the glass and stimulate bloodflow especially near the end of the session (sometimes to climax). I also stay crazy hydrated and that helps with gains+ discoloration. After my session I’ll do some recovery manuals + edging to stimulate bloodflow. It’s better to not touch the edges, but packing the tube encourages length. That’s why you see guys in giant sun tea jars getting grapefruit balls and turtle dick. They want to spend 3-4 hours in the tube but don’t want bruising. They also don’t care about functionality, it’s all about vanity at that point. they want a package that bulges through their jeans and STJ does that very well.

You could be bursting blood vessels which can cause red and blue pin spots or even blotches. Generally I’d say if this is happening then you’re doing too much too fast or at once. Maybe try spitting your pumping - do 15 mins pumping, get out, heat, jelq, massage and then do your remaining time. You also could be pushing yourself too much currently when you get upto 10Hg, thats pretty high pressure.

Surrounding my pumping sessions, currently I heat up for 10 mins with a heating pad, stretch 10 mins, pump 10 mins at 4-6Hg, Jelq for 12 mins, pump again for 5 mins at 4-6Hg, after this sometimes I’ll edge for a bit and then heat again for 10 mins. This has worked well for me so far and it has complemented my extender usage thus far.I have found the use of pumping, extending, manuals and lots of heat heat 5 days/week to be a good combination routine for myself so far.

I really want to do a routine very similar to that but I have a hard time pumping for 10 mins and feeling like I’m doing something. I feel like I need to taper back down to shorter sets and add manuals in between but I’m deep in the grips of an addiction. I have clamps as well as strong mechanic hands, just not enough motivation to do it. pumps just seem so much more efficient at doing the exact same thing: stretching the ligaments and creating pressure inside the penis.

One thing I haven’t been serious about lately is heat. I mean when I pump at the gym (shower stalls like toilet stalls with locking doors) I alternate between 10 mins pumping 10 mins in the dry sauna drinking water like a mad man, but I don’t really warm up before pumping. unless it’s cold in my room and my sack is tight, then I’ll throw on some sweatpants and a hoodie until I feel them melt between my legs. I’ll also pump in bed with the blankets over me which makes my whole body warm which no doubt helps with gains.

I’ve debated getting heatlamps / using my UV black lights but I’ve only done a little bit of reading on that and need to do some more. I bought a heat blanket and when I wrap it around the tube I feel like it does nothing. I put my heated blanket on my lumbar, point a space heater at my feet, and warm clothing / a throw blanket over my lap. If I was a little bit shorter I could use my tub to pump, but even when I fill it to the brim it only covers half the tube. useless.

I would say cut out the high pressure excursions and see if it goes away.

Also to circulate more blood, have you been milking the tube frequently during your 25-30 minute session?

Third thing to look into would be investing in the next size up cylinder.

Well its only the head and maybe bottom two inches of my shaft that touch the walls of the cylinder the rest of my shaft still has a long way to go before packing it fully. One thing i wanted to note that i didnt make clear in my initial post was it doesnt stay blue for long after i get out of the tube.

I massage it and maybe minute or two later its nice and flesh colored again. I think you guys are right that what i need to do is maybe every 10 minutes or so cut out all the pressure for a minute or so to let fresh blood in and then go again. I do get red spots that dont go away right away from time to time but not on the head but rather on the bottom of my shaft. Its so odd that only on the bottom hardly ever on the top of the shaft. And it only happens on the second day of pumping as im currently doing two on 1 off.

By the end of the second day of 30+ minutes pumping i will have a bunch of red spots on the bottom of my shaft but it goes away with 48 hours off.

As for heat i have tried several things but my favorite and what ive been using exclusively the past 10 days or so i an electric heating blanket for your back. I wrap it tightly around the cylinder before i even go in. Then i use a rice sock on my dick for 5 mins and stretch. By the time im ready to go in the cylinder it is pretty damn hot. About as hot as i can tolerate it. The blanket has 4 settings and i can go up to level 3 but because im wrapping it over and over instead of just one layer across my back it gets alot hotter then you would want on skin which is ok for the tube but level 4 is scalding hot.

The fact that the blueness disappears quickly backs up gprent’s point about circulation. The blueness shows the tissues are starving for oxygen, which is common after a few minutes of static pumping. Try to find a way to improve circulation by milking the tube, or cycling the vacuum every minute to keep fresh blood moving through your tissues.
