Breast Pump

Hi peeps

Would really like some advice.

I don’t want to buy a vacutech pulsar nor a ctc

But I do like the idea of handsfree pumping with a pulsing option sounds amazing.. Has anyone here any experience of using an electric breast milk pump connecting it via the hose and to a cylinder?

For pumpers, I think a cheap breast pump has a lot of potential for those who want to experiment. I hope guys will post their experience here so that others may benefit.

Ok Well used the breast pump and I have to say its great, got a bit over enthusiastic and managed to get a blister, a very small and non painful one, would highly recommend!

What can you adjust on it ?

Pressure, cycle speed etc ?

Lots of different breast pumps available these days but generally they are adjustable in cycles and vacuum. Cycles range 30-70 per minute and vacuum range from near 1-15 inches Hg (max of about 400 mmHg). These limits might be changed further by opening up the case and modifying the control circuit - I don’t know much about that. Keep in mind a cycle releases suction at the pump and the volume of air moved per cycle is not much as it doesn’t have to be for intended purpose.

I think I will make a video to better explain it there is a low pressure (MASSAGE SETTING) which is like 1-2hg pump and release of pulse, if I leave it on this setting I end up going flaccid,

Then the other setting has 1,2,3,4 strength variations which range from I would guess 1-2 2-3 3-4 5-6hg.Is like a couple of pumps of the grip on a manual pump, however the electric pump does it in one smooth pump and release motion so the pressure is uninterrupted and uniform..

Ok so been using the pump for almost a week now with good results!

So I have been using the breast pump with some success, one time built up some Edema but nothing like with the Bathmate or ridiculous amounts and it settled fairly soon, great thing is its basically a hands free pump!

To improve the effectiveness I would need to incorporate heat and or water, as pumping as it stands doest really keep things warm enough

Worth a try I’m. Sure it will work fine.
Yesterday I put hot water in the tube and really helps with the pumping.. Definitely recommended
