cylinder deal

I was looking for a new 2” cylinder because the old one has seen better days. I know alot of guys here do not like the Kaplan cylinders but they are what I have always used and I have had good results with them. Anyway, Kaplan is selling them on Ebay and I just bought a 2x9 for $49.99 and that was with shipping. That is the best price I have found. Just passing on the info.

Exactly what do you mean by “seen better days”, lasting? Do these things wear out?

It had a few cracks in it so it leaked a little and harder to clean.

Its the pump, 2.25 X 9” cylinder, the 3.25 cylinder, the strap, lube and booklet for a total of 100.00 USD.

I’ve been using a gravel filter and mity vac, and this seemed like a great deal for the money…two cylinders and a pump? How can you go wrong (don’t answer that)?

Anyone been using the Kaplan stuff? What is your experience with it?

I guess my biggest question would be: How much of a pain in the ass would it be to attach this cylinder to my Mityvac Pump?

A 3.25” Cylinder? Thats pretty damn big! That will take a girth of up to 10.22”!!!

I’ve used the 2” and 2.5” Kaplan cylinders for a while now, and they seem fine. I think like everything else, if you take care of it, it will last.

One of my cylinders has a leak on top, so I guess the seals can wear.

The 3.25 is for pumping with your balls and cock in the tube. Kaplan feels that this also helps stretch the ligs better. Pump 1 day with just the penis and the next with both. I have one of these cylinders but don’t use it. I never liked the way it felt.

I bought my kaplan tube from a place called 665 leather. They sell them for 36.00 each. The shipping is fast and reasonable. I didn’t know it was a Kaplan tube untill I recieved it.

I forgot to mention that the connector works with the male connector from L.A. Pump.

Yeah, I know…but I figure if I lube up real good, I can still squeeze in, might be tight though…. :woot2:

Are you supposed to clean them?

I guess so, seeing as the lube would make them quite dirty…..

Just got my gold package today. The 3.25, the 2.25 and the pump.

It took longer than it should have, called them, they said there was a ups mix up and said it would arrive today…and it did.

The cylinder is TONS more comfortable than my gravel cleaner, and seems well constructed.

The taper is really mild, and I still have lots of room for the glans to expand.

The 3.25 is a trip, I will work with it and see how it is.

There really isn’t any instructions that came with it other than use it 3-5 times a week for 20-60 minutes.

Actually, that is a good starting point if they had just added to keep it under 5 in hg.

The pump is pretty cheesy, but seems to do the job. It has the vacuum marked in green and red zones.

The green seems to go from 0 to about 6.5 in hg, and red starts above that…actually so far so good. Reasonable levels.

I am going to use my MityVac, in that it is a far superior pump and has more precise calibration.

I was looking forward to a ruled decal that was coming with it, clear and marked like a ruler that you could stick on your cylinder.

I got it…real cheesy! The ink smears right away, and wouldn’t survive one washing.

Too bad, I really was looking forward to accurate calibration.

Anyway, I got it for the cylinders, and they seem great.

Its neat to be able to pump up to the proper vacuum then disconnect from the pump and retain the vacuum level. Don’t seem to have any leaks so thats great.

I plan on experimenting with real low levels for longer times, as a change up cycle.

I’m thinking like 1 in hg for an hour and see how that goes.

Anyway, if any of you are looking for a good deal on a fair cylinder, I’d say this is pretty good.
