Do you guys regret spending all that time on pumping and why?

The problem with pumping at higher pressures is that it causes trauma that can actually have a negative impact on your goals. The problem is that the instant temporary size gains seen after high pressure pumping sessions are a mind fuck that are almost impossible to ignore as being positive, when in fact they are counter productive.

The secret to pumping is low pressure for multiple sets of say 10 to 15 minutes. As you gain in experience, you can increase your sets up to 3 or 4, but more than that, and even at low pressure, trauma starts to enter the equation again and you risk negative return for your effort.

The trick is to not fall into the trap that because you can pump up to impressive proportions quickly, that your permanent result is also that fast. You have to take it slow and not cause trauma for the best results.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

That sounds exactly like the lapdist directions that came with my pump. I didn’t pay attention to that and over did it a few times! Haven’t since gotten back into serious pumping, but I’m planning on it soon. Will take your advice for sure.

I have tried various routines, and as Gprent found I get better results with around 5hg. Probably most of the gains have come from pumping length from abut 5½" to just a fraction under 7" and girthwise is now just under 6" (My newbie measurements were not done correctly as I measured at the side so I cannot be absolutely sure of the gains - Foolish of me but I didn’t read the guidelines properly.)

Most of my gains have come from my own research which is published under

Assisted Girth Pumping

which is a little further on in the threads here.

I can pump at very high vacuum but would not recommend it. I prefer a loose tube rather than a tight fit and regularly use a 2½ tube for ½hour sessions without "Assisted Girth pumping" Using AGP my sessions are about ¼hour.

This is what I have been doing for a couple weeks, after I saw another one of your posts along these lines. Seems to be working very well, EQ is certainly very good.

Gprent, I can’t wait to get my pump. I will follow your routine and not going to go too high.

Gprent, very interesting feedback; can I ask you what your girth measurement is, and what cylinder diameter you use?

My girth is 5.75 and I pump up to 6.25. Right now I like using my 2.25” cylinder with no lube. I enter the cylinder with an erection and bone press it to start pumping. Because the cylinder is too large for me to fully pack, I can get away without using lube.

To answer your questionon how much I have gained.

I didn’t make much in the way of gains using the Newbie routine. This I think was due to an operation for a hernia tha was done on me many years ago. It was while I was suffering from ant-freeze poisoning, and I hadlost so much weight that one day I felt a bump in my groin nd was diagnosed as a hernia. Tey usedwhat was then a new method of putting in a gauze and left the students to do it. ( didn’t expect to live long} but they managed to sew the gauze into a nerve which gave me excrutiating pain every time I walked or even moved quickly. . Later I found that I didn’t have a hernia at all.

So due to the guaze which is still there, there isn’t much give there so it is only recently during pumping that the gauze has been loosened and I have made gains. So pumping has been my chief method of making gains

I started with a 2” tube but this is too tight for me now so I use a 2½” tube and a 3” tube. The 3” envelopes both my dick and scrotum and is supposed to stretch the suspensory ligaments to give increased length.

The 2½” tube is used for length but mainly girth. I use it with my own version of width enlargement which you can view in the pumpers forum under ‘Assisted girth pumping’ But you must realize that this is a very advanced method and not suitable in the early stages of PE.

Using this method has given me an erect girth of a fraction under 6” and an erect length of approx 7” this does vary slightly.
