Homemade Tubes?

Not sure if this is the best way to go, but I rigged one by cutting out the bottom of a reinforced sports drink bottle. I use a blue medical glove to make a seal on the bottom and one of the attachments glued into the lid for an automotive brake vacuum pump. I can get up to 5 Hg before the bottle starts to compress significantly. That’s good because it gives me a warning if I get too enthusiastic with the vacuum. It’s not pretty, but its relatively cheap and covert.

Thanks gprent, I seen that I just didn’t like the idea of using a PVC tube and not seeing what’s happening to my penis.

In this case, I used a Powerade bottle. It’s a little heavier duty than a typical water bottle of that size so it will resist crushing when you apply vacuum. It works, but I have to change the seal out often and the bottle will only last so long from the contraction and expansion. If you don’t mind buying sports drinks and rubber gloves often it does the job, but I’m honestly looking for a good commercial vacuum tube. I have to say the creative side of me likes gprent’s aquarium gravel tube idea though.

Another member on here posted a pic of his tube build. I copied his idea and made my own. It’s a good starter tube at about 1.25 inches in diameter and 11 inches long. It’s made from twelve inches of reinforced clear vinyl or PVC hose, a pipe cap that fits tight over the hose, and a small .25 inch hose barb. All can be gotten at most places like home depot or lowes for less than $10 to $12.

The PVC cap may need to be sanded inside so the clear hose can be inserted into it. I sealed it with white silicone based window caulk. I used teflon pipe tape to seal the brass hose barb fitting. I had the caulk and the teflon pipe tape on hand, so the cost was the clear hose, PVC cap, and fitting. If you have to get someone to cut the hose for you, make sure that they cut the ends smooth and evenly, or leaks will happen.The guy that cut mine, had to do it three times to get the cuts smooth and even. He wasn’t strong enough to use the hose cutter, and it’s a big liability deal if a customer does it him/herself. (rolls eyes)

That’s looks great man, you mentioned you got 1.25” diameter, what’s your girth and width if you don’t mind me asking?

Also what did you use for a pump ?

I’m not sure of my stats. I’ve been away for a while due to a bad reaction to a skin medication to remove a basal cell carcinoma on the area between my penis and testicle. I’m really small due to health problems and weight problems. When I stopped, my diameter was 1.10 inches and bone pressed erect length was 3.75 inches.

I will be using the harbor freight mityvac knock off. The all metal one. I just have to wait until the doc says all clear on the B.C.C and my skin heals up.

How important is it to be able to see into your pump while pumping? I want to build a pump, I have lots of 2” pvc white pipe and end caps that I can glue on and will be air tight. I would get a brake bleeder pump from harbor freight. I don’t think I want to pump very high, I just want a good flaccid hang. What do you guys think?

I think it’s important. I have over pumped before and caused blistering. You can also see bruising and red spots from capillaries bursting. So I would consider it important.

You can actually buy complete pumps at most adult toy stores for about $20-$25 these days. Of course, the ones at that price have no pressure gauge.

The pump bulbs and cock rings don’t last very long. Also, the tubes are usually thin and cheap and sometimes prone to collapse.
