Homemade Tubes?

Question about Plastidip, Ive went to home depot, and Ive asked for this stuff, and seems like no one knows what it is.. They asked me what it is for, I just made up some stuff how I was just told to go there to get one. hahaha Which section of home depot, and what is the name of the brand? Thanks in advance.

They didn’t carry it at the one I went to.

do you know which section to look one for?

I found the plasti-dip in the same section with adhesives and caulking. It was a little hard to find and the guy working there didn’t know what I was talking about. This was at Orchard Supply Hardware.

Hard to find. Either with the caulking and adhesives or sometimes to be found in the heavy, cold rolled tools- chisels and whatnot. Also found it in the hardware section where all the tools are. Make sure to ask the older guy who looks like he can actually use a table saw and say, “you know, the stuff you dip the handles of hand tools in to make a new handle”.

My mightyvac sucked shit. Broke almost immediately. Not to diss’ yours if you’ve got a trusty one. The brass one from harbor freight cost 15 bucks less and it’s a fucking tank. If that one ever breaks I’m definitely going back to harbor freight for another one.

Just a heads up for anyone looking for a tube. You can buy a LEXEL caulking tube at any ACE hardware for several dollars. The tube is clear and has writing around it, but you can still see through it. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with more than 5 1/4” in girth though. Cleaning it out is a pain. But, it’s cheap and works.

An empty silicone tube ( used by plumbers) works very well

it is 8 inches long and 2 inches in daimeter, the only drawback

is that it is not transparent.

Using this tube, a pump can be made for under a dollar

I made two cylinders. I bought two diameters of clear plastic tubing from Tap plastics. I went to the store and bought 1 foot of each, but they have a web site if don’t live near one: http://www.tapplastics.com/

I used pvc caps and brass fittings along with silicone sealant from home depot and used sections of bicycle inner tube to build up the flange at the bases. both work well, and can withstand high pressures. They are much better than the crappy one that came with the pump I got off ebay. The cost for both assembled was around $20.

My pump.

Hello, this is my first post. I just stumbled across this site the other day and now I can’t even remember if I was looking up PE or what, lol. I have been reading posts and learning for about a week. Anyways, I am really pumped (no pun intended) about what this site has to offer! I have learned a lot over the last week, not to mention that there are ALOT of guys on here who are much much larger than I, lol.I have faith though.

So I was reading this thread and just thought I would post which pump I have, and where to get it. So here is the link to the website and pump. I think for under $20 it’s a good deal. My unit is about 5" long by 4.5-5" in circumferance . I find this thing to be quite comfy, although I have nothing else to compare it to since it’s my first pump. I haven’t used it for enlargement just yet. I bought it with the hopes of someday using it for that reason, and thanks to TP I think it will come in very handy. Hope you like. http://www.toy4 pleasure.com/de … &cid=0&pid=1118

P.S. I don’t really see anything on here about PE pills. I used the brand "Longitude" (the one the gov’t raided and shut down, I’m sure you guys have seen the adds in the early 00’s Playboys) and I gained like half an inch as did a friend of mine. Any thoughts on the pills? Thanks.

Pills are bad.. Side effects are doubel if not tripple to side effects to physical exercise.

I used a product called Plastic Dip, used to make handles for tools, on the bottom 1” of my cylinders and can now make an almost perfect seal with little or no lubricant, and have no more need of gaskets or bands of inner tube or anything. I highly recommend it.

After much poking around and experimentation, it turned out I was right and I felt really stupid. You really can make a bare bones pump (without any tools if necessary) for pennies compared to a bunch of the commercial stuff. Not only was it significantly cheaper, my custom pump trumps the quality ones I bought online. Imagine that!

I would love to know how to build such a pump!

I am a newbie who hasn’t ever pumped before and I am going to build my own. Mainly because the good ones don’t look that good anyway and the cheap ones are overpriced. The problem is the pump. I went to a number of auto parts stores yesterday and they don’t stock brake bleeder pumps. I can’t find any online. I found a technique for reversing a bicycle pump

Make a Manual Vacuum Pump for Under $20 by Converting a Bicycle Pump : 8 Steps (with Pictures) - Instructables

So that it becomes a vacuum device, but you need to get a check valve and I’ve got this feeling that I’m going to spend another day getting blank, ‘Um, I dunno’s.’ from hardware store attendants. I would really appreciate it if anyone could post some instructions as to how to make the pump. Thanks

I use carboy stoppers (scroll 3/4 of the way down) with McMaster polycarbonate tubes . Got a #11 stopper on my 2" ID (McMaster #8585K46) tube and a #11.5 on 2.25" ID (McMaster #8585K19) tube.

There are several ways to treat the other end of the tube. I’ll leave that to you. Wouldn’t want to take all the fun out of it for you :) .

I have tube

I bought 3m of 2 inch tube and cut in to 10 inch long pieces ,I now have left overs ? Where can I sell them
