Measuring Length While Pumping

My first newbie question here. When I am pumping my length is longer in the tube than when I measure BPEL outside the tube.

My question is, will my BPEL catch up with the longer length in the tube or is this a false measurement to depend on in the tube?

If this is a future real gain that I will see then I am very encouraged. Someone please educate me.

First thing first, newbies should not be pumping. Or using any PE device.

Too easy to injure yourself with devices unless you have a solid 3 months or so with a HANDS ONLY newbie routine.

Thanks Sta-kool for the advise. I guess I should have clarified myself better. I started PE in Feb 2012 and did the hands only routines until recently when I started using a extender with the new MB VacExtender 4 and light pumping at night for 15 minutes. My pump has gauge and I keep it below 5.

I have seen gains from this and am encouraged by it just not sure how to view the longer results from inside the pump.

I still call myself a newbie because I have so much to learn from all of you.

I think length in the tube is closer to flacid stretched length.


Start: (Aug 2001): 6 1/2 bpel x 4 7/8 mseg

Current: (6/24/14): 7 3/4 bpel (7 nbp) x 5 5/8 mseg. BEG 6 1/4. BPFSL 8 1/8.

Goals: First: 7 1/2 bpel x 5 1/2 mseg ACHIEVED! Current Goal: 7 nbp x 5 3/4 mseg (almost there!)

My current un-pumped length and girth are a bit greater than my length and girth were inside the cylinder during my first pumping sessions. I started with a 1.5” cylinder which has an inside diameter of 4.72”. It took about six months before I could pack the cylinder at mid shaft. Today my un-pumped mid shaft girth is about 5”.

I placed a piece of adhesive tape to mark the maximum pumped length I could achieve in my first cylinder. I recently used that cylinder and when fully pumped, the tip of my dick reached almost 3/4” beyond the edge of the tape.

Based on the above, I would say achieving the penis you see in the cylinder is a definitely a possibility. However, bear in mind it has taken me about 2.5 years to get to where I am today.

I recommend you also mark your cylinder at the maximum pumped length so you can measure your growth.

Thanks for the advice DT. Today I use both a 1.75” and 2” cylinder. After about 5 min. In the 1.75” at 5 hg I pack about 3/4 of my shaft. Then I go into my 2” cylinder for another 7 min or so. I easily pack the first few inches of that one as well which I guess is pretty good. Last night after I pumped my meg was 6”.

Unpumped seems to range between 5.5 and 5.7 meg. My unpumped beg is 6.1” and pumped close to 6.5”. Now that might sound ok girth wise but it is equal to my EL. That makes it look like a stump. So I really want to get about an inch or two more in length.

I will add marks onto my cylinders for my progress.

The common advice to pump for length gains seems to be to use the smaller diameter tube. It seems like both will give gains in both departments but if you want to target length more than girth you want to use the smaller diameter tube if you want to target girth you want to use the larger diameter. I think there is a thread on it on the pumpers forum.

So if I am targeting length should I use higher pressure ? Currently I am using 1.75tube and I am doing 2 sets the first is 7 minutes and the second is 10minutes all at 3hg.

But I am expanding more in girth I almost pack my tube girth wise. I am definitely not expanding much in length, should I use sligthy higher pressure.

It is my opinion that pumping should not be used as your primary length exercise. You should use pumping as a supplement to more effective length exercises such as stretching, jelqing, extending, and hanging (listed in order of effectiveness - low to high). Do not increase the vacuum above 5 gr. it will not improve length and it often causes problems.

Pumping is considered an effective girth exercise. I have gained over 1/2 inch thanks mostly to pumping.

Yeah pumping isn’t my primary exercise. I am doing heavy hanging as primary exercise. I use pumping for EQ since I had bad hanger attachment technique and which was killing my EQ. I fixed my bad hanger attachment technique and now I am good. But I noticed that in the tube with 3hg I am not getting as long as when I am out of the tube with normal erection measuring.

Though I get great girth expansion without any fluid build up. So I wonder if I could up the pressure a little bit to stretch my dick in the tube :D lol I will try 4hg and max 5hg.
